hmm, he wasnt the lineal champion but he still came out and beat people for two belts which is still very impressive, jack Johnson another great wasnt able to do it same with dempsey! and i think he dropped the WBC belt to fight Evander Holyfield insted of Lewis..as it was a much awaited wait and would generate alot of money

No he dropped the WBC belt to fight Seldon for the WBA.

BTW Johnson never fought Dempsey for the title.

young Tyson has to much speed, to much power and to much skill..

What does Marciano have on him? Ff the contest was who can eat the most punches in the face and hit the canvas the quickest, then yes Marciano is the winner.

Seldon had the WBA belt. And Tyson wasnt offically stripped of the WBC untill a couple weeks after the Seldon fight. But the WBC belt wasnt on the line.

            So Tyson unifyed twice!!

The deal was, Tyson was supposed to fight Lennox in defense of his WBC title. Tyson declined and said no and went forward with the Seldon fight.

C'mon man. Lennox wasnt that big of a name at the time. Tyson wanted to be the undisputed champ, he wanted to unify.

How exactly can you unify if you decline to fight a mandatory, thus getting stripped? Stop reaching, your biasness is showing.

I guess Tyson thought the WBC didnt have the balls to strip him.

Who are you to say he's biased, I still can't see how you can watch a Marciano fight and a Tyson fight, yet still root for Marciano..to me that screams HUGE bias. What is so Impressive about a slow slugging bar brawler?
