"So in other words anybody who doesn't fight a defensive fight is a slugger in your opinion."

How did you get this from my post?

Explain what you meant than and quit ducking the question, because I can say for a fact that more counter punchers than not will wait on their opponent to commit to them. I can also say that being a boxer/puncher like Trinidad and putting pressure on does not make you a slugger, swarmer or brawler. As I've already stated, Trinidad use boxing skills, precision and power to win fights. Sluggers are not as skilled and want to turn the fight into a brawl. Here is some video evidence for you.

I break it into 4 categories

            Boxer - Wlad Ali(young) Hearns
Counter Puncher - Toney Mayweather(above lightweight)
Volume punchers - Pacquiao, Pryor, Meldrick Taylor
            Slugger - Tyson Trinidad Foreman
            Slugger/counter puncher - Hagler Morales Hopkins(90s)
LOL..... can you name even three fighters prior to Ali that I don't talk about............... come on show us your vast knowledge.......... New England is 100% on the money with his estimation............ You just drive me nuts with your re-cycling of the same 20 names, over and over an over and over and over & over & over,......... fsssssst......

No, because he had physical limitations that would still keep him from being that kind of fighter.
