This to me is a cop out. We're not comparing one fighter who weighed in day before against another who weighed in day of. They both accepted the terms and had the same rules to go by. Both had to make weight at the same time. There were no advantages to be used as excuses if one fighter decides to move up and loses. To many people try to minimize one fighter if their fighter moves up and loses. Fact is, they made a choice and the playing field was level after that choice. Heavyweight is a little different though. Bad comparisons.

As far as Loma goes.....if a fighter moves up he makes a conscious decision to do so. The playing field is the same at that point. I don't believe in advantages at that point, at least not like that. It's Not Lopez fault Loma had so much amateur experience any more than it's fault Loma decided to move up. Both should be respected.

Loma gifted him $300k of his own purse just to make this fight and his drunk daddy pulled a thug act on Loma days before the fight and Teo a complete ass in interviews.

Loma never offered excuses. He flew straight away to Ukraine for shoulder surgery on his previously repaired shoulder. It's quite possible he retires because the shoulder is to painful and problematic for high level boxing.

We get it. U don't like former Soviet countries and their fighters. It's OK. Always been lowbrow fans not liking fighters based on race or origins.

Why would anyone quickly fly to the Ukraine for surgery? No one goes to the Ukraine for anything, especially surgery. They go there to hide. For top surgery you stay in the US.

He missed 28 top 10 fighters (ring ranked) during his tenure, but consider him a h2h nightmare in any era. So your opinion of what I think of Eastern European fighters is pretty much hogwash. I call it the way I see it.
