Yes, he was a bigger man(though Ray was taller with a longer reach i believe) than Robinson, but we're talking about Sugar Ray here.

      Still I don't believe LaMotta deserves all the praise he gets.

        Lamotta is overrated for sure, i cant belive ring magazine ranks him so high. B-hop and james toney would have beat him.

              No, LaMotta is a great fighter. He was the first guy to beat Robinson, and the only guy to knock him down.

                ^^^^^ exactly. and that was in robinson's primes. he thought LaMotta was one of those little white boys he used to Knock out. the same goes for basilio.
