I think Duran at 147 in the first fight, being a smaller man, was just as fast. he was blazing fast. He also beat Leonard too though.

I don't think the Norris fight means anything, Leonard barely gave a ****, had drug issues and Norris was dead in his prime.

I mean it meant less than Tarver Knocking Jones out cold.

Leonard was all heart and athleticism, good fundamentals - sort of where it ends. He showed good ring IQ but nothing crazy in the skill department.

what i am saying is that when a popular fighter gets massacred when they are "old" fans like to act as if it was an injustice.

but were they complaining the same way when the jones's and leonards of the world were beating up guys who were small, old, mismatched. etc?

look at the way tyson fans cry about danny williams to this day.

I dont think Jones win over McCallum means much tbh. I dont think I fall into this category. I saw mcallums old man fundamentals working against Jones its just he was far past it, not prepared and Jones was also a good fighter.

i think jones whole boxing record is kinda trash considering how highly rated he is tbh.

he has some good wins but hes also got cherry picking vibes about him. and when we compare ATG to ATG this matters.

He's got that heavyweight win he always talks about, but it's over a slow plodding punching bag in John Ruiz. Ruiz never would have held a title if there was only 1, he wouldn't have a title if there was 2 or 3 either.

His best win is James Toney. a flashy decision but it was decisive so well leave it at that. Toney had weight issues but even still, its a solid win.

Hopkins was green, and in the championship rounds, Hopkins figured something out about Jones by fighting inside, people forget that. Then we never saw a rematch until it didnt matter.

I'm not saying Jones isn't good, but hes not the best ever. people pick Jones over everyone without even thinking, as soon as he gets knocked out they just say hes past his prime. Hardly a fair analysis. he has a bit of the Tyson syndrome about him, his excitement clouds his true greatness. so people ignore his flaws.

not his worst win. but its a laughable for him to claim to be "heavyweight champ" from this.

                    both overrated as hell tbh.

toney has many losses and robbery wins.

hopkins best wins are a former welterweight and a former super featherweight
