If Foreman fought a different against Ali, would he have won?

Now Butterfly is saying that Ali took Bonavena more seriously than Frazier. LOL, Frazier had beaten Bonavena twice before his fight with Ali, and one of those fights was the one sided 1968 rematch (in which Frazier won about 12 of 15rounds).

Anyways, George Foreman and Sonny Liston didn't take Ali seriously, so that is why they lost to him.

Well, since he was better conditioned aginst Bonavena than he was for Frazier, I have no choice than to come to that conclusion.

Liston didn't take him seriously, but Foreman to an extent did. He was in fine condition, he just got his butt kicked, that's all.

thank about it, if he wasn't swinging so much and just box, the way he did against Frazier, could he have beaten Ali. I say yes and no, cause Ali still had some speed even at time, and could outbox Foreman, but Foreman could knockdown if he caught him good, and could've ended in a possible KO for Foreman, but it's not very likely. your thoughts?

Had he followed Zach count instead of looking to his corner he could've been up 2 counts earlier.

As it was he was up 9 sec into the count that is too fine of margin. Ali was exhausted and down for 30 sec and had to be helped to his corner and visably beat to hell in his normally ebullient post fight personality.

In the end, about 2 minutes later the monsoon hit that woulda stopped the fight. It's a Miracle it came off to begin with and Ali wisely took short money to pad out his career with regrettable physical and mental consequences.

Ali knocked Foreman OUT for the ten count. This is a proven fact. If you deny it you are lying.

If Foreman tried to box Ali he would have been cut to pieces. Ali was the boxer. George the slugger. He fought Ali the manner in which he defeated both Frazier and Norton. The style he used at that time to make himself an undefeated heavyweight champion. He could not outslug Ali. He could not outbox Ali.

Foreman would never beat that version of Ali(or the younger versions). If they boxed from longer range it would have been even worse for Foreman. Ali was boxing his ears off whenever there was some space between them. Ali was a remarkable fighter. The GOAT HW by an extremely wide margin.
