Ali would beat him easier in rematch just like he had easier time with Liston. George Foreman fought the best he could and it didn't work. In his first title defence against Wepner Ali looked great. He weighed 223 and went 15 rounds without looking tired at all, and Wepner was tough guy. Ali's confidence went up, and Foreman was all the way down, and he never fully recovered in 70's.
If Foreman fought a different against Ali, would he have won?

well for all of you who say foreman was never a great boxer, look at what happened to sonny liston, and liston was another monster puncher, but he had a different style than foreman(i say different not BETTER). Liston was danced around all night by ali, something he could never do to foreman because he would be knocked out.You dont kill guys like norton and frazier ,and force ali to defy the odds and completely change from his normal tactics if your a sloppy, bad boxer. It was foremans confusing style.
Clay never took any hooks off liston when they put the litament on his gloves,he was just pressurized that bit more.He only took one and it really rocked him,and remember most of these guys were smaller than ali and punchin upwards really takes away the power of the punch. When foreman landed solid punches(on the few occasions he did) he hurt ali bad.
Im not saying ali had a bad chin,it was GOOD,but to say it was made of pure granite is wrong.Comment
