What is important to note is that this research wasn't done with any of those newfangled apparatuses like MRIs and 3D Printers, none of that nonsense. It was done the way they use to do (real) science, they measured the slant of the head with a protractor.
I have a link to the 12 page 'conclusion' if anyone is interested in reading all of it.
ABSTRACT
Objective:
Impulsiveness has been the subject of much research, but little is known about the possible relationship between craniofacial anatomy and impulsiveness. The present study was designed to investigate the relationship between one aspect of craniofacial structure (the angle of inclination of the forehead) and impulsiveness.
Method:
Photographs in profile were obtained from 131 volunteers who had been fined for driving at high speed and were undergoing a court-mandated driving license point-recovery course. They completed the Barratt Impulsiveness Scale (BIS-11), the Impulsive Behavior Scale (UPPS-P), and Zuckerman’s Sensation Seeking Scale (V). The angle of the slant of the forehead was measured with a photographic support and a protractor.
Results:
High positive concordance was found between forehead inclination and 14 out of the 15 impulsiveness factors studied.
Conclusions:
The angle of inclination of the forehead was significantly associated with self-reported impulsiveness in this sample of traffic violators.
I have no information on the smell.

Me, I am the only patented inventor here. Used my mind to improve lives around the world forever changing the course of humanity.
I'm kidding. I respect billue and Bundana quite a bit. I'm not sure what Bundana doesn't know about and billue is able to speak to combat more open ended than any other poster has expressed to me.

There are some in here who impress me very much with their followed knowledge of the sport, and I appreciate them for what they are. I have not followed boxing since I was 19 years old. I rolled my dice with the world, just said F it and then went at it hard. I started getting the KO magazines in '85. I forget who they rated #1 pfp back then. Once I decided to do it I was petal to the metal going for it. I decided that I had to do this 100% or not at all as a professional. And so I did. Had I only knew then what I know now. Looking back is fun and billeau2 is sharp on the sport. I like GhostofDempsey too...………..Rockin'Last edited by Rockin'; 08-03-2020, 03:28 PM.

Marchegaino is smart and puts a lot of real quality time into his research.
I do think a lot of members here show they are capable. Queenie and Rusty will post a real gem now and then.
Houdini is said to have an IQ of almost 160! I know this because he told me!!
Seriously a lot of people contribute IMO. I only know what I know because of people like Joe Rein, Ray Corso and others who I would listen to.
I remember back a while ago, when I used to write a lot of stuff for the sites, I once posted about the qualitative difference between Joe Calzaghe and Roy Jones... At that time in my own development I didn't really understand the difference between quality of opposition. So this veteran poster explained to me, very clearly, how one cannot compare certain fighters because of the different level of comp.
Also, one thing that needs to be said here: someone can be very intelligent, logically correct, and for whatever reason, things turn out different than predicted. Larry famously posted about Broner and how he would be quite succesful. I don't think Larry was wrong. Broner was on fact very talented... Big Dun made this point to me about Broner as well. I asked Big Dun what he saw in Broner and he gave me a great response.
To this day I think Larry and Big Dun are correct. Broner's own stuff got him in trouble and not working on certain skill sets imo.
My point here is that "being right" does not always make one an intelligent poster. If one goes with the favorite by the odds, they would be right most of the time... Yet some of the most brilliant ideas that have found eventual success have been wrong about what they initially proposed.Last edited by billeau2; 08-03-2020, 07:33 PM.
