Well what If JMM started dry humpin Pacman in the ring, mistaking him for his gay japanese lover!!! It ain't ever gonna happen, just like the extra time would never happen. Taking a rematch immediately COULD have happened but it didn't, and it set back JMM marquez's career 4-5 years. Just wondering what people think about his mistakes.
On the flipside, what if there was like an additional 30 seconds in round 1 of the first fight or round 3 of the rematch...would we be even talkin about JMM right now?
That's changing the whole aspect of the boxing game. The answer would most likely be no, 30 more seconds and JMM's career is ruined. But the name of the game is 3 min rounds, and if pac can't finish him off within that timespan, then all is fair. Hats off to JMM for his heart and recovery abilities. Nothing JMM could do to change that in his power, what im saying is if he immediately rematches pacman, then he wins and changes his career.
I'd never rank Corrales above Mosley, I didn't want to debate but that is all I have to say on that subject.
Of course Mosley is a better fighter even right now against prime corrales. But at the time, Floyd was going into incharted territories and fighting a very dangerous opponent. Not only did he win, he did it in spectacular fashion. Cotto's win over mosley was great, and i'm not downplaying it at all. In fact, I thought mosley barely lost that fight. All i'm saying is that floyd's domination as an underdog against corrales has to hold some type of close comparison to cotto's close decision over a GREAT but outta prime mosley. Not sure what type of poster you are. I've been reading these forums for years, but never posted. I hope your not one of these unreasonable bandwagon fantics, but i'll give you the benefit of the doubt.

That was a great win. But the Domination over Corrales, who was a p4p fighter at the time with a 33-0 record was just as impressive. Even though Mosley was at the top of his game in that fight, let's remember that shane was not in his wonder years anymore even though he is still a major player in the WW division. I won't stand up for what he's done at 140+, but you can't disrespect what he's done below that. In fact, ppl should be more appreciative that he's even able to move up and continue to win, when he could have easily stayed at 140 and cleaned out that division for the rest of his career. A true p4p champ, literally.
