I rarely post, however it is important that misinformation not be be spread if we hope for this sport of ours to grow. Clen is most definitely a PED. Along with its fat burning capabilities, it also spares muscle while cutting and significantly boosts aerobic capacity. It was a favorite amongst track athletes and cyclists at one time, many of whom once caught used the same contaminated beef excuse. No skin in the game, these are simply facts. Should be an interesting tilt.
No. Vada forgoes T:E ratio testing in favor of CIR testing. Urine will only tell the tale of what an athlete is using based upon the test that is administered. Provided one maintains a T:E ratio within the legal limits of the sanctioning body (some 6:1 on the Olympic stage 4:1), an athlete can use testosterone without raising an eyebrow, once knowing how a singular dose effects his/her body. VADA is aware of this and uses a CIR method, so even if your ratios remain consistent, You will be caught due to the difference in molecular weight and structure of a man's own testosterone and that which comes out of a vial. Which is why the "basic" test didn't produce a + with Lamont, but VADA's test MONTHS later did
He was not caught by the urine test that Pac agreed to. VADA uses a CIR method of detection. T:E is the test that is the "standard" and has become elementary to beat. I have no dog in this fight, however facts are facts...
Pac agreed to the unlimited USADA random urine tests without any cutoff.
It was the blood tests that he wanted a cutoff initially.
Isn't the method USADA employ for urine testing the same as VADA?

If this were a simple T:E ratio test, the aforementioned strategies are possible. VADA's CIR testing works by differentiating exogenous testosterone from endogenous, masking will not work
