Looks like no one agrees. Everyone has the "JT was robbed" ideology. Not everyone. The fight was way too close to be called a 'robbery'...more like a close one that could have gone either way. Toney got hit more than he ever does, and regardless of what he said in the post fight interview, he FELT those shots too. Nobody can take a right hand from Peter and NOT feel it, he just hits too damn hard. I was disappointed in Peter for coming in so heavy and for not spending the entire first 3 rd's of the fight working Toney's body. He should have limited himself to throwing punches only to the body (for atleast 2-3 rd's), then go for the head! The results may have been much different. Peter's lack of experience showed, especially when compared to the extent of Toneys. He really REALLY needs to work on technique and defense so he can get somewhere in the division (lol, in my opinion anyway :D ) He's got a decent chin and a ko punch...the rest can be learned.

Pac was never shown the contract for the gloves, fucking MURAD signed it without telling Pac The only one to blame for that is Pac, sadly enough. He is the one putting his health on the line, so he should make damn sure he knows whats on the contracts! Hell, they're all about him anyway, he should know their contents better than anyone! It doesnt matter though, he admitted that the gloves had nothing to do with it, and then when Larry saw another "way out" and mentioned the eye, he agreed with him and said that he couldnt see.

Same my throat was sore for 2 days after and i was at home, if i were at the fight it would been worst. Hatred for three? NO problem! :D

yeah im just waiting for the first couple of threads to exploit that excuse Well, right after the fight, he claimed that he couldnt see out of the messed up eye. Damn, even though it may be true ?? I had hoped that whoever lost would man up and say that the other was just better, if only for that fight..naive, huh? :o

oh come on, the blood will get in your eyes, how couldn't you believe it? have you been in that before (having some part of your body that was bloodied?) that would lose some confidence in you thinking that you are wounded. and that cut was because of an accidental head butt. Sigh..what I meant by my post was that regardless of the cut, it would have been nice if just once the guy that lost would be able to admit that for that night, if ONLY for that night, he just wasnt the better fighter..and then I called myself niave for wishing something like that. and, for what it's worth, I'm one of these that couldnt help noticing that the headbutt happened to the center of his forhead, not the side. But, immediately following the headbutt, Erik landed flush on the side of his eye. And , to make matters that much worse, I dont go for the "gloves" theory..and Pac admitting in the post fight interview that the gloves had NOTHING to do with him losing doesnt help with my opinion either. He cant have it both ways..he said in palin English that the gloves had nothing to do with him losing (matter of fact, that's when he started with the 'eye' business) and I believed him. Im not going to change my mind now just cause it's convenient. Erik outboxed him..Manny thought he could ko Erik..Erik was the more skilled of the two, etc..A combination of factors is the cause for Manny losing. Considering that I have given Manny props for the fight he put up louder than anyone else here, you'd think you could have looked past my one post where I questioned his abilities to continue with the fight while having a cut above him eye.

it was they clash heads but pac takes eriks head in between the eye brows then he followed up with a left hook that causes the cut way in the back the headbutt didnt cause it besides erik had already set the pace with those jabs for a cut to occur Thats exactly what I thought too..the headbutt happened to the center of his forehead, and then Erik punched him immediately after that on the left! :confused: I'll watch it again..maybe thats what the ref. thought too, and the reason he said the cut was caused by a punch??

Clear decisive win? In THIS fight? There is NO WAY that there will be a definitive winner tonight, the fight's going all 12 rounds, PacMan will control the pace, but the fight will be declared a DRAW!!!! I'm very glad that I'm not going in to watch this fight with my mind made up that somebody will get screwed, or that it will end in an unwarranted draw. That mind-set would probably ruin the whole damn thing for me. I think that one or the other will win by tko or ko.

Due to the manner of the first fight(with MAB) i cant see any way that PAC will lose to him. On to JMM -i cant see any way that Pac can WIN that fight....... Actually I agree with this. I think Pac will always be too much for MAB, but I guess we'll see if ever they fight again. JMM is a different story though; I can easily see him outboxing Pac once again, and possibly avoid any knockdowns. He avoided them the remainder of the fight..I have to think he learned something from that.

ou must be punch drunk like that guy on your avatar. If anything the judges gave Manny a lot of close rounds. I had Manny winning a close first round and the 9th and 12th and that is it. I managed to give manny rounds: 1,6,9,10 & 12..but Erik did more, and looked fantastic during that fight. Going southpaw for the 12th was crazy of him, but I think he did that to rile up the fans (and it worked)..I dont think there's any question that Erik won. I have to wonder if he made this thread as outrageous as it is knowing many would reply and he'd make a hell of alot of pt's for it. I cant imagine anyone scoring it for Manny..not anybody that knows how to score anyway!!! :eek:

Th left hand landed on the cheek, gash was in his eye brow. When they clashed heads they didn't just bump, they scraped. Ouch..that had to hurt! :confused:

It is very hard to win a decision against a bob arum fighter in las vegas, usually you need a knockout. I had pacquiao winning the fight 115 to 113 or 116 to 112. I had him winning early and winning late. He brought the fight to morales big time and showed effective aggressiveness throwing and landing many more power punches. I also think he hurt morales more though when pacquiao gets hit it looks overly dramatic cuz he jumps. You cant be serious! Only an extremely biased fan of Pac's would find a way to give the decision to him! I've read alot of things by pac fans at this site since Erik beat him, but not one of them thought Pac won. Youre definately the first. Hate that, cause your so wrong!

pac should fight gatti, i know the weight difference would be huge but that would be so entertaining. it would be a war if pac could stand up to gatti power lol, yeah, that would be something else!! :eek: :D too bad with the weight difference, they'll never meet in the ring :(

Pac should go for the rematch against Morales... You really think so borikua???? No warm up, or confidence builder of any kind first? I think even Pac knows he lost that one fair and square, so a little "boost" wouldnt be a bad idea, I dont think anyway :confused:

I was also at the fight, and the crowd was crazy... Basically it seemed like the entire card was set up so the Mexican fighters would win leading up to the Main Event- so by the time it rolled around people were going ballistic! So you went too huh? Thats alright..I've got enough hate for two! :D
