I just wished he'd have gone out on his sword against pac, go down swinging you know, i knew he was shot but bought into the hype. Id still liek to see him and Andre Berto fight
Not to mention a decent scrap up at heavy weight with Haye vs Klitschko and to some extent Adamek vs Vitali.
From an English point of view we have a couple of cracking domestic level dust ups int he not to distant future to. This is the best boxing's been in a few years both domestically and on the world stage.
I wonder what his testosterone level was. That's how to determine whether he was seriously cheating or not. Chael Sonnen used the same excuse, but when it was revealed that he had like 4 times the normal level of testosterone in his body, the excuse was no longer valid and it became clear that he was using it as a performance enhancer, not because his body needed it. I hope that we get to know what Peterson's level was when he tested positive. There's no reason why we shouldn't find out. Hopefully we will and a definitive verdict will arrive.
I read that his t level when tested was actally below the 4:1, (his was 3.75:1 or close to that figure), ratio which is why it was not picked up in any of the drug tests around the first Khan fight.
VADA apparently do more extensive testing and although the ratio was acceptable they discovered the presence of synthetic T. Just proves the inadequacy of the standard drug testing in boxing.
If porter wanted to box with brook he would of got eaten, brook is a better technician. He chose to try and rough brook up on the inside and he got it wrong as brook was better at tying him up than he anticipated. It made for a pretty average fight and I wouldn't have argued if it had gone a pint either way. Most damaging shots were landed by brook. But the 2 scorecards were way off. Although dan rafael had a 4 point swing in brooks favour.
