From what I saw, Pacquiao did a lot of the same thing as with his fight with Cotto. Just from observation it seemed Pacquiao LET Clottey hit him with those shots.
If you just watch from an unbiased view, after a combination Pacquiao would just stop when he could have just unloaded on Clottey.
It was the same in the Cotto fight. Pacquiao seemed to let Cotto draw him to the ropes to allow Cotto to get those shots in.
Flame if you want but that's just what I saw.
With the way Clottey was fighting, the fight would be boring, no matter who he was fighting against, even the almighty Floyd Mayweather Jr.
Mayweather vs Clottey? Defense vs defense? That would be the most exciting fight of all time. Floyd could not have done anything in that fight either.
What makes people on this forum more educated than the founding secretary general of the WBC and a strength and conditioning coach? These two people dedicate their lives analyzing and examining boxing (well Ariza to a certain extent).

If all the Mayweather fans say that Floyd would outbox and dominate Manny then why not just take the fight? Even if Pacquiao were taking PEDs or HGH what difference would that make in a fight if Floyd were to outbox him? According to all Mayweather's knowledgeable fans, Pacquiao would not even be able to hit Floyd and where would the factor of steroids come into play if Manny could not hit Floyd?
If Floyd Mayweather is, as he is pinned to be, an all time great then why not just take the fight and forget about the drug tests. Prove that he is great.
Obviously, Floyd does not share the same confidence in himself as his faithful following does.

Where were all the naysayers of Pacquiao before the shit talking of Mayweather. Nobody questioned the skill and heart of Pacquiao until Mayweather. What makes what Mayweather so incredibly rock-solid and substantial that it changes the minds of so many boxing fans.
When is Roach going to stop cherry picking? Valero hasn't done shit to deserve a fight against the #1 p4p fighter in the world. Roach should be focus on Mayweather.
