Sure, Pacquiao threw more and landed more punches against the master counterpuncher Marquez. And I'm sure the Pactards would say: "If Pacquiao, a known pressure fighter and slugger, can out counterpunch one of the greatest counterpunchers of all-time without cheating Marquez by not showing up at the agreed upon catchweight (like Mayweather did) then Pacquiao is one of the most versatile fighters in history." But isn't it really a sign of stupidity to fight using a style that is not one's own? Again, I acknowledge that Pacquiao threw more and landed more punches using a counterpunching style versus one of the great counterpunchers of all time BUT isn't it egotistical and stupid to fight someone else's fight to begin with? Fighting, afterall, is not about proving one's versatility but rather finding the most effective method of achieving a win. Pacquiao fighting Marquez using a counterpunching style was like Joe Frazier getting on his bicycle and doing the Ali shuffle against Ali and winning. Just plain stupid even if Frazier won a close controversial decision.

The young and undefeated Tim Bradley moves up to fight Pacquiao victim Miguel Cotto at a catchweight of 148 lbs. (9 lbs. higher than the weight at which Cotto won his first world title weight). Simple question. Who wins?

Cotto beat DeMarcus Corley and Paulie Mallignagi at 137 lbs. each. He lost to Pacquiao at 145 lbs. and beat Mosley at 147 lbs. Cotto has definitely had some very good fights at both the super-lightweight and the welterweight levels. Today, at only 5 foot 6 (a lightweight's height) but weighing 17 lbs. bigger than when he was we a super-lightweight world champion, is Cotto a blown up super lightweight or a natural welterweight?

Let's face it Mayweather/Cotto should have happened years ago. Since that time Pacquiao dominated and then destroyed him over 12 rounds in a fight where Cotto basically ran. Was the damage of 3 long years ago enough to make Cotto meet the requirements of what Floyd Mayweather describes as a "leftover"?

If May/Cotto got cancelled and Pac/Cotto II happened......would you respect Pac/Cotto II if you said it was junk before but now you think Floyd/Cotto is legit?
