Not sure when they go on sale, but normally all the normal prices tickets from rices $200-600 are purchased by ticket-brokers such as Ticketsnow and Stubhub and resold for a 40-60% mark up, so it's incredibly important to get them early within the first 30 mins if possible.
With this being a Mega or Superfight, even the cheapest seats might be $300-400.
I expect them to go on sale in early June, so be on the look out.
Thanks for your replies, so if I was to go through ticketmaster I should get some decent prices the first half hour ?
OT: anybody seen any good deals on hotels? normally my total rewards gets me good prices but their high right now.
I came across a deal for flights and hotel accomodation for two, it came to $1200. The hotel was circus circus which i heard is 2km from MGM grand. This was a day after the fight was announced hopefully the price doesnt go up.
Amir is really embarrassing himself, he has no leverage whatsoever to dictate anything. People would like him more if he didnt talk so much, I'm all for confidence but if Garcia can land that left hook and end your night with all that speed you have got then you're in for a long fight with floyd.
Im really disgusted by some people on this forum. Someones health is at stake and people are busy being idiots. Its pretty obvious Abraham hit him when he was down. Regardless of your opinion Abraham was wrong. Adversity shows character I guess the coward Abraham showed up tonight. At least admit your fault in the interview. SMH
people on this forum are kinda sensitive when it comes to their idols. im a fan of Joshua being that i grew up in Accra. Do I think he's gonna win a Decision against Pac-Man. No. Is it possible to beat him. Yes. Clottey's gonna have to throw a lot of punches and not gas out. At the end of the day anything is possible. what seems to be a warm-up fight for Tyson ended up being a knockout when Buster Douglas knocked him out
^^^^^^^
Khan might not be the most deserving but the fight will do really solid numbers, A Khan vs. Mayweather fight is more entertaining than Pac vs. Rios in my opinion. Its a good business move by Mayweather's camp to boost their numbers and have more leverage over Pacquiao in terms of revenue split. That is if they ever call Bob -___-
Here We Go Again
We should start a gofundme or kickstarter campaign to raise funds so we can pay Pac not to fight this guy. At this point I am willing to pay just so he doesn't get that fight too lol
Just watched it, interesting. Tunde's corner advice was objectively wrong at times. Like when he says that Kov is gone at the end of the 10th, when it was in fact Yarde that was completely gassed
I was surprised when he kept saying 2 more rounds and hes tired, 1 more round and hes done. What exactly was he basing that on ? Yarde wasn't doing any body work the whole time. Simply banking on your opponent getting tired on the world stage isn't enough to win a title. Not once did he address Kovalev's jab. I really hope he grows from this as a trainer. If he cares about Yarde like he claims he should be receptive to toning his pride down and getting some help himself
come on, this is just getting ridiculous. does he do an interview a day? Khan is self destructing, the people around him should keep him away from the press
Im not sure if anyone has seen this but I genuinely think Yarde lost the fight because of Tunde.
View this post on Instagram It was good but not good enough, more experience, more hard work, more more more #LIONSINTHECAMP A post shared by AnthonyYarde||BeastFromTheEast (@mranthonyyarde) on Aug 27, 2019 at 2:17pm PDT
There were no tactical adjustments or advice given. He didnt mention anything about defending the jab or closing the distance with one. The worst was when he told him to empty the tank in the 8th. Now that I think about it, John David Jackson told Tunde they have to go to the body and make sure Kovalev doesnt get the leverage to work from a distance. Had Yarde stayed in the pocket and worked the body from Round 1 he could have probably won. Kovalev is elite but I think Tunde just didnt maximize Yarde's intangibles.I get staying loyal to who brought you to the dance but there is nothing wrong with bringing in an experience trainer as a consultant for camp and fight night. I know Tunde used to work with Junior Saba(Otuo Saba) since he was a kid and dude couldnt go pro because of a brain injury or something like that doctors couldnt clear him to fight. Is this where Tunde's fear of sparring and reluctance comes from ?
These numbers explain Arum's desperation to get the fight done. No way Pac gets a 50/50 ppv split after doing these numbers, I wouldnt be suprised if Mayweather gave him the same offer as he did earlier 30 or 40 mil flat, no gate or ppv.
