The guy had so much heart and will, and he was such a vibrant part of the sport, that it is hard for me, even now in the face of all this, to believe that he's not getting back up from this one. It is just very very sad.

I dont know what it is about him....he just brings excitement to the game..even though ppl knock him for his fighting style, i think he is brilliant. His entrances are so entertaining..he is just a character. When people look back years from now they will recognize him as a good boxer, but a better entertainer. I have never seen somebody like him in boxing.

I have the utmost respect for JCC. Him and Mike Tyson were my boxing heroes when I was a kid. But c'mon, when you say it was gonna be your last fight, please do it so like a man. If I was there last night, I can always say to myself "I was there when one of the greatest fighter of all time fought his last fight." But if he fights again, it's like robbing the fans that showed up last night. What's next, Adios II, III, IV...IX, etc.

Hey bozo i know how it feels like to go to fights....i recently went to the Bernard Hopkins vs. Eastman 20th defense fight and DAMN!!! IT WAS STARSTUDDED! I was never so amazed by the stars that appear at fights. I saw Zab Judah and took a phone pic of him although it came out blurry, i saw Barrera, and Kassim Ouma walked up the stairs right next to me. He seemed pretty chill. Later on Mike Tyson came in with this entourage and EVERYONE started to yell and cheer. IT was crazy. Of course i got to see jack nicholson and xzibit who are residents of l.a. Overall it was more than a fight, it was an amazing experience. That night made me a boxing fan for life!
Antonio Tarver is a shit head, why the hell can't he get a fight right the first time it always has to be the second time around.
He got the shit beat out of him by Eric Harding, fought him again and was getting his ass kicked and then hit him with a one punch bomb that not only ended the fight but basically ended HArding's career as a title contender.
He fights Roy and pisses the fight away by going on vacation for 5 rounds and he can't understand why he didn't get the decision.
Second time around he does absolutely nothing in the first and then gets the homerun in the second.
Damn against Glenn he again takes off way too many rounds and cannot back up all of the talk leading up to the fight...he was clearly the better fighter but he was also the lazyier fighter...
He will beat Johnson but who cares...Tarver is a lazy fighter and expect more of the same once he gets by GJ...He will lose his next fight post GJ on account of being a lazy dumbass.
