The fight between JCC and Ivan Robinson was awful, Robinson was always loosing his mouthpiece and stumblinb around the ring like a drunk. To my recent memory he is the one of the worst boxers i have ever seen. How the hell did he beat Gatti? Also i have to say Adios, thank god that he is done. He should have left the game a while ago. That was pathetic, JCC is done and hopefully so is Ivan Robinson. ALso what was up with Ivan being all touchy with JCC and the ref, hes a pretty odd guy in general. The two fights that saved my 34 dollars in some way was seeing Marquez and the war between Harnandez vs Chavez (which i scored a draw). The JJC Jr. fight was entertaining for the 3 seconds it lasted. Overall i want to see a re matc hetween Hernandez vs Chavez and thats about it.
I Wouldnt Pay 40$ For The Fight But My Dad Is A Huge Jcc Sr Fan And If He Wants To Pay 40 To Watch His Hero Then Thats Up To Him. P.s It Wasnt As Bad As Ppl Thought It Was
Hey Boss..you really are an amateur.... Do you know that JCC Jr. Has NO and i mean NO Amateur experience! He is 19 and still looks like a kid. He needs to develop some man strength and a little more of a style. The only way he can do this is by working against some opponents that are not yet "contenders" He is on a different carrer path than say a Vargas who was an olympian with a vast amateur experience thus a World Titlist by 21. If you don't agree that Chavez should be fighting, don't buy his PPV and there you go.
I agree JCC Jr. should be in no rush to start fighting higher ranked contenders in this point of his career. The kid is only 19 years old, looks like he is 15, and has alot to learn before moving up in the ranks...
I'd be all for Chavez fighting again, just not on PPV. Chavez's biggest fans are obviously mexicans who aren't very high on the socio-economic ladder. It isn't right for predominantly lower-middleclass or less fans to have to pay to watch their country's biggest hero.
THATS A PRETTY IGNORANT COMMENT TO MAKE
What good does it do to say "I was there for this fighter's last fight." ? So you can just say that sentence and feel proud of yourself? hahaha. True, it shouldn't be promoted as a person's last fight if it isn't, but if you even really like the guy you're not going to be pissed because it isn't really his last fight.
And dogtown, I don't wish to pick a fight with you, but cut the bullsh!t. First you said you wanted Chavez to get knocked out so you wouldn't have to see him again, then you get defensive when someone jumps on you for it. You knew when you posted it that people would get mad, as that was obviously the response you wanted.

Thats a messed up thing to say. I was at the Staples Center, and the Hispanic fans filled up all the seats. I was sitting in the $200 seat area, and I also bought 3 extra Seats for family. Everyone around me was what you would call lower-class to middle-class mexicans. Watch what you say, Your stereotype of who are Chavez fans are is wrong. Chavez had his greatest years between 1987-1992, his younger hispanic fans back then are very well off today, hence the 18,000 tickets sold at the Staples center.
As far as the fight being on PPV, most mexican communities get together and have big party, they all pitch in and watch the fight.
Chavez on PPV
The fight has to be PPV. I don't think anyone else will show it. Aside of just being for really big fights, pay-per-views can also be for those fights that not as many people want to see, so that they can choose to watch it themselves. Besides, if they showed it on regular tv, then they'd only show a couple of fights from the card, and that would be a real disappointment because I know there'll be a lot of other great fighters on there.

I Want to See Chavez in Texas
I thought the fight was pretty good, and I look forward to seeing him fight in Texas since I've never been to one of his fights before. It's great because I'll get to see both Julio Jr. and Omarcito also, although they probably won't have Junior against a decent opponent on that card either so his dad won't have to worry about that before his fight. By the way, was anyone there and saw Omarcito fight last night? I haven't heard anyone mention it.
I have the utmost respect for JCC. Him and Mike Tyson were my boxing heroes when I was a kid. But c'mon, when you say it was gonna be your last fight, please do it so like a man. If I was there last night, I can always say to myself "I was there when one of the greatest fighter of all time fought his last fight." But if he fights again, it's like robbing the fans that showed up last night. What's next, Adios II, III, IV...IX, etc.
WTF is up with Robinson last night, it's good to show some kind of respect for JCC, but he's been hugging and kissing Chavez as if he wanted to have sex w/ him, f*ckin fanuch.
i agree dude
hey rogue warrior your an amateur muhamad ali was 19-0 when he fought sonny liston for the heavyweight championship of the world o and he was only 22 dont give me the hes young stuff if he really wanted to get some man strength he couldve fought amateurs because all hes doing now is making money to fight amateur fighters

Don't be too quick to retire JCC, at the post fight press conference, he hinted that he wanted to say "Adios" to the fans in Arizona and Texas.
Fights in Phoenix AZ. and Hidalgo TX. are possible for later this year.
it was a good night of boxing
and watching JCC is well worth it very time
tyson keeps fighting and you dont see me complainting
JCC is a legend stop the hating fellas
hey man i love watching mexican fighters but there is a time when you just have to quit no matter how hard it is for your family and your own health his sons last 2 opponents really havent been the greatest fighters and you have to admit that all im saying is that jcc should retire and his son should start fighting some good competition if he ever hopes to live up to his fathers great legacy

jcc was horrible just horrible the guy should really just retire and spare my eyes from hoping that the next punch that lands on his chin doesnt take his life the guy swells up as if they were fist boxing i mean ivan robinson didnt even land a good punch but once or twice and he was all swollen up his sons opponent was a disgrace and he should start fighting good guys now or else all that he will ever do is disgrace the chavez name not that his father didnt already disgrace it with that performance on saturday night
If you mf were as smart as you thaught you were then you would of even watched the fight.Get the fuck out with all the f..... bs.

Y
ou got to be fucking kidding if you thaught this fight was gonna be any different than it was. Over all I thought an old ass 43 year old Julio gave us way more intertainment in 4 rounds than a P4P ranked Winky vs. Tito. You got five fights for one paper view. You guys make shit to damn obvious.(HATING)
The only thing that really suck balls was the commentaters,HBO would of turned that Chavez Hernandez fight into fight of the year!
fIGHTNEWS SAID "After the fight Chavez kept the door open for another fight, confirming only "this is my last fight in Los Angeles."
wHAT GOOD COULD COME FROM THIS?
No, he should retire after this one.
