Wilder is like the heavyweight version of Floyd. They even seem to have the same hand issues. Easily the best heavyweight ever.
Holy **** just joined here but this must be trolling or you must be 12 and haven't seen many quality heavyweights.
First ever post here.
GGG fan but I voted Ward, even though I view the super 6 competition overrated (old Kessler, froch best win is an even older Kessler) he did clear out the division and if he beats Kov that's it done. GGG would need the Ward fight and win at that point. GGG will eventually move up to 168 but its even weaker than the one ward cleared out.
I agree Eubank has insane stamina, granite chin, good size, great work rate and decent power. He will beat GGG.
I never post here just read but I have to ask where's Eubanks proof of a granite chin or are we assuming he has his fathers?
Anyway Eubank finds himself off balance far too often and GGG will relentlessly batter him. We will soon see if Eubank Snr is compassionate and throw the towel in.
Exactly. Set the alarm. Get up and get to work. The world stops for no one.
Sorry this attitude is ridiculous its hard enough when you suffer from depression to get up and face the world never mind do a full camp and then face a near 20st man who wants to knock you out.
This thread is an indictment of.the lack of understanding mental health illness's get in this world.
Ref was a dumbass but he never deducted points and seemed pretty much to let the guys fight besides the round where he breaks them up for low blows
But it did effect the fight, Linares was on the verge of a knockdown then with alot of time left in the round and seemed out of sorts until he hurt Crolla in the 6th. I'm a Brit but you can't blame people for.not wanting to come here if we don't get on top of this ****.
I'm british and I agree, there was a risk AJ could of completely gassed out and also the marketing of his 100% KO record is getting half the interest from the casuals. Sky love talking about his power yet since the competition has been stepping up its mostly been ref stoppages even Wlad could of ridden out the rest of the round
Hearn is clearly trolling, but he does raise an interesting point. The biggest fights in the US seem to max out in 15-20k capacity venues - MGM Grand, Thomas & Mack, MSG, Boardwalk, etc. You guys have the best stadia on the planet, hands down. Why aren't there more stadium fights in the US?
Even though there's more boxing fans in the US (I'd guess) the distance to travel city to city is much more, I'm in manchester but I could be in london or cardiff injust over 3hrs so its easier to get a popular fighter 50k in attendance for a fight without it being an overnight trip with hotels and flights. Also we are very tribal in UK especially for our own town/city fighters (might be the same in some US cities) so its easy to get 10k for even a national level fighter like a Warrington. Then you have the welsh/scottish/irish guys who will come out for anyone from there own country who has had success because as a small country they want to support their own.
I dunno. Eubank is a big lad and he's got a good chin. Maybe lose a big decision then.
But I don't trust Lennox as well
How do we know he has a good chin? Because his dad did? He's not been tagged by anyone with power.
The way I see it Eubank will try and box a little smarter than normal and gets brutalised for 5/6 then won't be able to help himself from throwing one of those wild hooks he always misses with and ends up completely off balance but for once doesn't get away with it and GGG smashes.him to the ground
I just want one thing to happen
Askren to suplex on his head and walk off, he'd instantly be my hero of course he would get sued but we could probably raise the gofundme for getting rid of one of these douches
well considering UK boxing has peaked for now its not a surprise. I don't see any possible English superstars on the rise and if AJ loses then matchroom is going to struggle to keep sky and dazn happy

Forgot to add as a nation we love going to events, look at how quickly stadium music gigs sell, WWE tv tapings, NFL games, how many nights of our olympics was sold out. We love to say we were there I think
Mannys resume since Floyd is still probably better than spences overall. I think people are counting Pac out too much, Spence beat a broken, weight drained Brook and a blown up Garcia, yes he should be favourite but if they fight by July if i was offered 5/1 on Pac it'd be worth a bet on it.
meh, Fury faced Wlad in Germany, Wilder while still out of shape then again, you lost to Povetkin when you literally could have demanded the belt due to the Wilder legal battle, also I do think Tyson would have faced AJ had the judge not ruled in favour of Wilder 3. We will have to see what comes next, I don't think he wants Whyte as it's not really an event and he doesn't seem to care about belts in that Overlap interview so I can see him dropping the WBC should he beat Wilder. He says he has 3 fights left, 2 after Wilder, AJ is one for the money belts or no belts and Usyk makes sense as the other as of right now. I can see Usyk beating AJ, Fury beating Wilder then them 2 fighting for whichever belts aren't stripped off both then AJ gets a win and we get FuryAJ Old Trafford/Wembley as Furys final fight.
Mayweather and Ward set traps and punish their opponent's misses. Hughie was purely negative with literally no offence. Explain to me how his performance was any better than Malik Scott's against Luis Ortiz
By not getting knocked down or even hit and connecting with more punches,he was making parker miss especially in all the first 4 rounds and whether there was much behind them or not he was the only one connecting
Fury beats Usyk with his size and boxing skill, Wilder will catch him at some point and then its likely over but AJ would likely have the most trouble, if he tries to fight like he did on saturday then Usyk has the footwork and speed to close in, if AJ fights like he usually does then he might stop Usyk or get picked apart.
