this fight will be a definate "dud". there's no way margo caves like DLH did, so i look for him to come forward and pressure pac all night long. the only problem is that roach will have pac boxing from the outside all night long. and if margo doesnt catch him w/ something and slowly wear him down like he did cotto, pac will cruise to a boring victory like in the clottey fight.
u stupid, nuff said. why would dirrell fake it when he was totally dominating the fight? the some judges had it a near shut out. he could've "ran" for the next rd and a half and still won comfortably.
I really enjoyed it. I enjoy the 2nd round where Floyd get whooped! :D
Respect for Shane. Thanks Grandpa Shane. Apreciated :notworthy
I'm sure u did enjoy the 2nd round, but i know u wished u had turned the t.v. off after the round was over.
i dont understand this move by kat. he's headlining on a hbo card, and is willing to piss it away for a juan diaz rematch. he's been on a roll lately and who knows, maybe he beats RG. i think the RG fight will be a tough one for him to win, but if he loses to JD again he losses all the momentum and potencial large fight purses in the future w/ hbo. dont do it kat.
there is no way this fight will be a war! instead it'll just be ez money for soto. EV has been overrated every since he stepped on the scene. soto is technically sound enough to pick EV apart, and humliate him in front of his menial fan base. ez money i says!
Headline: Mayweather beats Pacquaio without fight and taints Arums best fighter all without throwing a punch. Not only does Arum lose millions in potential earnings from this fight but also loses millions in potential earnings from future fights. Remember it was Arums goal to make Pacquaio a megastar ala Delahoya.. Now? Now Arum is just f#%ked
i couldn't have said it better myself.
let's be real
It seems to me that ppl are saying that Froch deserved the win based on what Dirrell didn't do, rather than what Froach did, which of course was nothing. Newsflash ppl, boxing doesn't work like that (well, its not supposed to). the decision on saturday was and is whats wrong with boxing. sure the fight was a bit drab at times, but you cant blame Dirrell for that. he made Froch fight his fight, and Froch couldn't keep up plain and simple. thats why Froch resorted to using dirty tactics. not only did dirrell land more shots, but he also landed more power shots and had Froch in trbl more. hey, i had Dirrelll winning the fight handily, but that's just me. what more can i say?
im not a cotto fan, but there is no way he should have to put the belt on the line for a catch-weight fight. i think roach is just looking for an out, so they can set up a fight between FM and Pac. FM has already said that he would pay JMM step aside money to fight Pac. he's just waiting on Roach to bite.
kevin hyper-extended his elbow early in the vitali fight, and that made him a one handed fighter for the duration of the fight. i think it speaks volumes that vitali couldn't stop a handicapped opponent, but since then, has stopped all others that he has subsequently faced.
if bob is willing to take a fight w/ paulie, then why not w/ bradley? everyone knows bradley would be a bigger fight. only problem is gary shaw says he wants the same tests done b4 the fight. so i guess that means that floyd wasn't the problem after all. pac's camp is affraid of what the tests may reveal.
i am very much interested in this fight. the 1st fight was an all-out WAR! a definate must see and FOTY contender. check it out if you haven't already. even if you're not a "fan" of female boxing, this fight will bring you over to the dark side.
bradley destroys valero. hatton was looking for a comeback fight, i think valero could be it. i actually think hatton could pull it off, and get at least one more big fight out it.
no excuses, pls.
it has been a few months since clottey's last fight. imo, he should've been preparing himself (mentally and physically) for his next potencial fight, seeing is he is a "professional fighter". so what did he expect, that he wouldn't get another fight after "gave away" his last fight against cotto? and did he not say that he "loved the gym" in his last interview? with that said, his body should be in decent shape at least, and the only thing that could be an issue would be the mental aspect of the fight. and i think 5 weeks is plenty time to get your mind right.
