I made a double topic, sorry to steal the thunder from the original poster!!
That was fucking brilliant, at first I couldn't believe what I was seeing lol
If you're broke or in the country or an igloo and you can't get the fight, then yes, do sopcast!
It doesn't really matter if these fights are considered epic or not, guys. It's about seeing fighters at a particular point in their careers fighting against each other.
In the history books, one of these fighters is going to be remembered as the winner, and even the loser will be remembered. It's because of the names involved, you don't remember scrub fights like you do remember challenges and battles.
That's bullshit, why should a football fan pay to watch the super bowl?? or a boring match?
by the way Floyd didn't earn his money that night either.
Dude, the superbowl is brodcasted FREE on TV.
It's your call, bro, but it's like... You know when a new album comes out of someone you like and respect in music?
Well, you can do two things, you can run to btjunkie the day it comes out and grab it for free in a half hour.
Or you can go to Itunes, and buy it and get it in 10 minutes.
It's really up to you, but if you always go to btjunkie and never Itunes, then that's not fair to anyone, including yourself.
Hey folks
This isn't a hardcore user of the board, breaking down semantics about who has a harder jab or the wingspan of a boxer. I'm just a fan of Floyd, and happen to have caught Hatton's last few years.
I personally like and appreciate both of them, and that's all I wanted to contribute. I mean, if you think it's gonna be boring or disappointing, then fine.
Of course we all know Floyd wasn't going to retire, but the fact that he took a fight against a very tough opponent is pretty amazing. These fights don't happen every day.
But lastly, how could you think that the FMJR V ODLH was not going to be disappointing? Oscar has been over-rated since he lost to Trinidad.
This is from a 'casual' fan, remember, not a message board junkie.
good responses, folks.
I appreciate the input. I like the idea of saving it on my DVR, but the bar idea is really good too.
Nothing beats a crowd of drunk people sitting around a big-screen CRT and yelling and cheering!
