I have watched UFC and fight cards for the past year now on sopcast, a far cry from the Saturday nights at the local bar watching the PPV there.
I have a PVR, and so I can record which will perhaps be the fight of the year.
So I am a definite yes, that it's worth it to watch it at home.
It'd be nice to see it on an HDTV, however, maybe I should make some calls lol
How do you all feel? How will you be watching this fight? I would strongly suggest instead of cheating the boxer's by watching it Sopcast, you pay respect to the show that they're about to put on and drop that $55!
Later
If you're broke or in the country or an igloo and you can't get the fight, then yes, do sopcast!
It doesn't really matter if these fights are considered epic or not, guys. It's about seeing fighters at a particular point in their careers fighting against each other.
In the history books, one of these fighters is going to be remembered as the winner, and even the loser will be remembered. It's because of the names involved, you don't remember scrub fights like you do remember challenges and battles.
Im payin $65 for hd broadcast..... but i bought it even though i know this fight is bullshit....
Its like roger said....
" the reason the rocky movies were made is because people believe in bullshit"
and most people will be getting the fight because they sold it like hatton has a chance...........
fuck off with all your negative shit
I don't even watch regular tv. So I'm not getting HBO and the bars will never show PPV boxing here, so I'm doing Sopcast and damn glad its available. If HBO ever came up with a buy PPV only deal I'd go for it.
DAMN. jessica aint half eating that ice cone lol

Well, we might have had a good fight at this one. But with the biggest ring possible and the biggest gloves possible (same one heavyweights wear) at Hatton's worst weight, way to many disadvantages against the "best fighter in the world."

That's bullshit, why should a football fan pay to watch the super bowl?? or a boring match?
by the way Floyd didn't earn his money that night either.
Dude, the superbowl is brodcasted FREE on TV.
It's your call, bro, but it's like... You know when a new album comes out of someone you like and respect in music?
Well, you can do two things, you can run to btjunkie the day it comes out and grab it for free in a half hour.
Or you can go to Itunes, and buy it and get it in 10 minutes.
It's really up to you, but if you always go to btjunkie and never Itunes, then that's not fair to anyone, including yourself.
good responses, folks.
I appreciate the input. I like the idea of saving it on my DVR, but the bar idea is really good too.
Nothing beats a crowd of drunk people sitting around a big-screen CRT and yelling and cheering!
i agree if your a true fan of either fighter the least you can do is order the fucking fight. this is gonna be the biggest fight of the year and if you are gonna sopcast it well..........................

Hey folks
This isn't a hardcore user of the board, breaking down semantics about who has a harder jab or the wingspan of a boxer. I'm just a fan of Floyd, and happen to have caught Hatton's last few years.
I personally like and appreciate both of them, and that's all I wanted to contribute. I mean, if you think it's gonna be boring or disappointing, then fine.
Of course we all know Floyd wasn't going to retire, but the fact that he took a fight against a very tough opponent is pretty amazing. These fights don't happen every day.
But lastly, how could you think that the FMJR V ODLH was not going to be disappointing? Oscar has been over-rated since he lost to Trinidad.
This is from a 'casual' fan, remember, not a message board junkie.
If you got friends comming over of Family, order it.
If you got friends/family ordering it, go see it there.
If your gonna watch it alone, try to get a sopcast link or go to a bar.
before the gloves and size of the ring were made public,i would have said yeh go buy it...but now u know its all in favour of PBF,i think you should just go down to a bar n watch it..that way when it gets boring atleast u can get a few drinks in,perv on the waitresses...and so on....doesnt sound like this fight is going to be as competitive as first thought
I paid respect to the show Floyd and Oscar put on and I was pretty disappointed. Do you really think Oscar earned his 40 million dollars that night? Or Floyd earned his for that matter?
true, i was really dissapointed with de la hoya that fight
