For thoses wanting to know when the weigh in will be that would be Friday May 4th at 2:00pm in the MGM Grand Arena las Vegas. If you canot attend it will be shown by ESPN at 2:00pm Pacific Time. I'll be there will you. My money is on De la hoya......2 day's and counting.......
Where abouts in Seattle do you live at? I used to live up in Marysville and there wernt any places to go see a PPV fight so I just used to watch it at home plus there wernt any boxing fans that I would come across so belive me if I was still up there I would hit you up for your address, the only good thing about it is that I will be there in Vegas live for the fight. 6 days and couting.....Who are you going for????????

The Los Angeles Times reports that Oscar De La Hoya and Floyd Mayweather have come to terms for a pay-per-view mega-bout to take place on May 5, 2007. The agreement was reached late Monday afternoon.
"Oscar is really excited," said Richard Schaefer, CEO of Golden Boy Promotions. "Oscar knows he will go in as an underdog because he is facing the best pound-for-pound fighter in the world."
The event will be promoted by De La Hoya's promotional company, Golden Boy Promotions. De La Hoya is rumored to be making over $20 million for the bout, while Mayweather is said to be making over $10 million. The exact split of the fight is unknown.
De La Hoya gave Mayweather a deadline of Monday or he would pick another opponent, Mayweather gave in and the deal was agreed upon.

But this "weigh in" is bullshit. They moved the limit to where ever Vargas felt. Hes going to outweigh Mayorga by 25lbs come fight night.

I agree that he ( Vargas ) might weigh more than Mayorga but since Mayorga is so confident that he is going to win that shouldnt be a exuse. If anything thats the exuse that Mayorga is going to say when VARGAS KICKS HIS ASS........
