- -You still cryin'?
Canelo just turned 23 and TUE 50-0 was still 35. Canelo had to wear Bayliss strapped to his back and go against TUE judges and drug testers not to mention turning blue on the scales from the catchweight multiplied by the 165lb rehydration clause and still finished the stronger fighter.
Sugar got the holy dog biscuits whooped out of him and had privately retired before being coaxed back.
Cry us a river over ancient history, will you?
There was no rehydration clause you F@G. Get some help, and stop making up lies because you hate greatness
Catch weight and nelo had beaten nobody. Trout was coming off of a good win over cotto but still trout was a nobody and little experience himself. And no PFP fighter
Plus nelo wasn't PFP top twenty even if you look at his resume at the time. He was outside top twenty. But just cos he was facing Floyd ring mag bumped nelo up ratings.
The win for Floyd it is what it is. At the time it is is ok win for floyd. And the win for Floyd won't look better the more nelo wins.
Each boxer is different and might peak at a different age. Duran did beat Leonard so what's your problem with that. Duran was the smaller man too. He was the former lightweight champion. Floyd deserves credit for a good win but not as much credit because he made Canelo fight him at a catchweight of 152 instead of the jr middleweight limit of 154 or no fight. In my opinion today's Canelo would slaughter the Mayweather that beat him when he was 23 and somewhat drained. Canelo has improved tremendously since Mayweather beat him while Leonard was already very near his best when he fought Duran. Two different fights involving different boxers.
Who gives a fck about the catchweight for multiple reasons
1. Canelo put the idea of the catchweight out in the media first, so why not take advantage?
2. Canelo has fought at catchweights south of 154 in the past and started his career at 147
3. At the end of the day, he agreed to make 152 so NO ONE can use it as an excuse.
Trout and Canelo were top 2 in the division and it was a unification. He established himself as #1 in his division. If you think its an "ok" win then you are just flat out wrong. It's as simple as that

No...Stop Overrated Losses as if fighters can't bounce back from them! Fighters protect 0's because you Sh#t fans want to bury these guys, call them overrated and stop caring about them when they do lose so some fighters just would rather not risk it :dunno:
Why are you going on a rant that has nothing to do with what I said?
That's crazy. It's literally the opposite. Boxing in the US is marketed specifically to Mexicans and black Americans, and white boxers are constantly used to build up those two. Look at GGG, they built him up as the great he was in his prime, but HBO never put up the money behind him to get him legacy fights in his prime, and all the black American boxers under Haymon ducked him during his prime, but once he started to slip that's when HBO suddenly got interested in having him fight Canelo, and then they used their biased commentary to try to elevate Canelo while the equally biased or corrupt judges gave him a draw.
Same thing with Kovalev. They built him up as the great fighter he was in his prime, but failed to make the Stevenson fight for him OR the Ward fight during his prime, then waited until he got old so they could try to use him to build up Ward into their next PPV star like Mayweather used to be, but it didn't work out quite how they planned. Max Kellerman even literally SAID that it was Ward's right or something like that to only fight Kovalev when the timing was 100% perfect for Ward. An objective commentator would say that fights should happen at the time that is fair to both fighters, when both are in their primes.
Then the corrupt judges robbed Kovalev, and the ref in the second fight, and the HBO commentators were responsible for the cover up trying to pretend like no crime was committed, figuratively speaking (but also maybe literally? It is a crime to rob someone isn't it?), and to pretend like Ward landed "body shots" not nut shots.
It goes on and on. Lomachenko robbed in favor of a Mexican boxer in his 2nd pro fight. Looks like they were planning to rob him last night as well.
So I dont know what he's talking about. American boxers (usually black) and Mexican boxers are constantly being protected by every aspect of the boxing establishment in America. It's the european boxers (usually white) who constantly get screwed over.
This is the most idiotic post i have ever read on here
Literally everything you said is bullsht
joined this month and only posted 6 times.... every post you've ever read though...
You haven't only just joined and you haven't lurked either so dont bother claiming it.. you're an alt or a banned user, both counts suggest to anyone else your opinion is equally as irrelevant.
You aren't the user i quoted so why are you so mad?
Do you also share his idiotic opinions? or is that your "alt"?
I dont agree with his sentiments in their entirety.. i dont buy into the Ward kovalev conspiracy theories and never have for a start.
What i also dont buy is people who dont have the bottle to post on their normal accs or have said something stupid enough to get banned, and then make an account to come straight back and start mouthing off again.
As i said, neither would suggest your opinion holds any more validity than his, regardless of whether i agree with them.
Im not mad in the slightest, i just think it brings the general level of intellectual discussion of this forum to a grinding halt when 6 post alts chime in with "bull**** post" but offer no counter-argument or anything to the topic.
Im off to bed now.. cya.
Dude you take this internet **** way too seriously. I have been lurking and finally decided to make an account, everyone here was new at one point.
Stop getting your panties in a bunch, and realize that the internet is not that serious for you to be getting so upset at a new user. I think it's best for you to log off.
