If Calzaghe decides to fight Dawson, Joe will be in for a real fight. He better not underestimate Chad. The kid is the real deal. He's a much better fighter having gone through the Glen Johnson war, and the confidence gained by dominating Tarver. Eddie Mustafa is the perfect trainer for him.
He beats Johnson easily in a rematch. Calzaghe would be the perfect test for him right now, but I think Chad would beat him.
Don't get it twisted, I'm a huge Calzaghe critic, but even I know where to draw the line. And I draw the line at Chad Dawson, if Joe lost to this kid I'd cut off my own dick and eat it. That's how confident I am in the fact that Joe would win.

Joe was a very good fighter.
Weak competition and match-ups against "has-beens" prevented him from establishing himself as a GREAT fighter.
I would LOVE to see him fight Dawson, though.
