A lot of people would rather see Marquez-Peterson than Pac-Peterson or Pac-Marquez IV
Plus, May has an edge over Manny right now because he has an earlier fight date scheduled. If he wants, he can take on Cotto and rob Manny of that option. He can take on Martinez and then any fight Manny takes will pale in comparison.
This time, it looked like it was Arum/Pac who were trying to avoid Floyd. Floyd made it look like he wanted to fight Manny more than the other way round.
Imo, Manny and Arum messed up big time by not taking on Floyd this time. They lost more. Take into account that--all things considered-- Dec 31 2012 is the expiration date on Floyd-Manny. Make the fight after that date and everyone involved will make less money than if they did it this year.
