Judah is way better than alexande. better speed, power and defense. idk why people think khan is going to spark judah, khan is fighting a new judah who knows this fight very well could be his last. i think khan is gonna look great until he feels that power mixed with speed and is gonna be on the defensive from then on. i give it until round 7 before judah catches him and has him on the run before he's finaly caught in round 10. only thing madiana didnt have was speed but if he could catch khan what makes you think judah cant. i realy hope judah wins and brings him back down to earth about his mayweather dreams. come on if paul mccloskey can confuse him, what do you think mayweather is going to do to the kid, probaly ruin him for the rest of his career just like ricky. judah is slick also and with the power and speed to catch him.
pretty sure Vitali will KO him adamek should have stayed at CW
yea he really lacks the pop for a hw, would like to see a rematch with the new look arreola. Now that he's in shape he can really put the pressure on without gassing out
im seeing the exact opposite he was mad an old man was outlanding him so he illegally threw him down to the floor in frustration
imo he would have lost the fight and if the ref told b hop hed be tkoed he would have fought on with one arm as he did in the echols fight and won making b-hop look that more amazing
Really I saw none of this, im a Hop fan too and to me it just looked like they were fealing eachother out.
he was being unreasonable he did throw the old guy down! u know those bones arent strong anymore!
Your right if the injury is true i hope he heals right, a younger fighter could bounce back but Nard is almost 50, I think he might need longer to recover, thats if there really is a shoulder injury tho.
I believe The Ring had Hopkins at #10 P4P before Floyd re-entered after the Ortiz fight, so Hopkins sits at #11 right now. If hr wipes Dawson out, I wouldn't be surprised to see him get the nod over Ward and Segura up to #8.
Bernarde should definatly be in the P4P, if he wins tonight he has to make top 10.
Ward shouldn't be in the P4P over Froch, to be honest after the top 6 it could go in a couple diffent directions.
Really no point in talking about resumes as they are fighting each other in two months time, but Froch has already lost in the Super Six (vs. Kessler, a man that Ward wiped out) and won another highly controversial decision that most felt was a hometown decision (vs. Dirrell, a man that ducked Ward).
In terms of skills, Ward is faster and moves better. Froch kept getting tagged repeatedly by Glen Johnson's right hand in his last fight. A fighter like Ward would have made an adjustment after 1 round, a fighter like Froch had to fight through it while continuing to get tagged the entire fight by the same punch. Ward is more versatile, he can fight dirty if need be, he is the total package. Froch only has a puncher's chance against Ward.
I never said he was a better skill wise but in terms of his resume he does deserve to be P4P over Ward. He's faught better competition Pascal, Taylor, Kessler no head butts to throw him off his game, Abraham and then Johnson who can make anyone look mediocre but he handled him better than i expected. Yea you can say Ward has better skill, but based on Frochs willingness to leave home his laft 4 fights to get wins and belts he gets the P4P nod over Ward to me. But it will all be figured out when they fight.
this. i deff want to see how he does in a tune up before getting a shot at the top guys.
Agreed if he looks good in a tune-up or two then why not go for canelo or cotto, atleast he's willing to fight the best in the 154-160 division and not try to snatch a belt and fight bums. Old school mentality!
Lara's been talking alot since the win, and i do mean win because he did win. But he makes it seem like he just broke down Pwill and pulled a maidiana vs ortiz on him. He faught a great gameplan and all but Pwill was right there in his face punching too. It was closer than it looked to me but he still won. I hope Paul gives him a rematch and pulls a Pwill vs Quintana 2 on him. This time he won't have a long layoff and he'll know more about Lara. I respect Paul as a fighter to the end, i don't know to many fighters who take a knockout like that and is still trying to get a 3rd fight. I don't know to may fighters like that these days...:dunno:
He's truly a warrior who gives no excuses win or lose. He gave Lara his props behind closed doors like a man and hasn't been saying he knew he won the fight all on the blogs and videos.
