Yea I'm sure about as eager to make Wilder-Fury 2...
BJS and Andrade are 2 in the same.. Love fighting people you've never heard of, while calling out the big names once they have a fight lined up.. then when they're free, then return to fighting nobodies that due nothing for their legacy.. all while awaiting to sell their 0 for the best payday possible.
We'll see if they feed them both to Canelo.
Smith beats Saunders and Canelo, imo.
In fairness, all 3 names are essentially now connected. If you know one, you're more then likely familiar with atleast one if not both of the others.
The difference is in the UK boxing is one of the more popular sports, whereas in the US it isnt. Not only that but our business model is different. It's more of a 'quality' vs 'quantity' thing. If it was just about filling stadiums we'd have all the fights at Cowboys Stadium or one of our college ones that seat well over 100k but people wouldn't show up. They're either too busy or don't care over here.
It's obvious that Team Lomachenko and his biggest fans have been pretty shook lately....they're not very confident at all...in fact, they seem WORRIED.
I'd say they're about an 8 right now...they'll probably be at a full 9 during the ref's final instructions...
Just vote...you don't have to discuss or explain...
CEO, is that REALLY you?... is this what you've been reduced to since your departure from Boxing Unfiltered?!... 😂
I wouldnt mind a rematch... if not let Pac get a soft touch with a nice payday vs Khan.
Or winner of Mikey vs Danny Garcia...
I dont want Pac fighting Spence.. Pac needs more of a farewell tour. I dont want him to go out on his shield..
Yea, So feared that a prospect with 18 fights, No world level experience and ZERO professional sparring jumped at the chance to fight him in his own backyard and almost KO'd him... smh
Alvarez didn't say that it was a 2-punch knockout.
He said that he had been working on landing punches with his two knuckles.
But HBO's Spanish interpreter sucks ass and has trouble keeping up with the fighter's train of thought.
Exactly right.... God, i hate that guy. He does a terrible jobs.
Khan looks like he wants to through alot of awkward combos from different angles. I see him working on the left hand alot which is good. They've done a bit of HW but only time will tell if it actually helps... i doubt it.
not mine

HAHA... I was actually one of the performers waiting to go next when this happened!! Hil-freaking-arious.
We all thought that was staged.... it wasnt, dude was out cold.
Bob had Ruiz on the shelf. He's a bit bitter but kudos to him for taking the high road..
He didnt see Andy's worth even tho he had a close fight with Parker. At the time, I thought Parker won and rescoring I had it a draw.. it was a close fight that either man could've won. Bob should've atleast know Andy was a legit contender..
he couldn't knock him out anyway. he throws girly arm punches. the guy looked in pretty good shape and i would expect him to run around and frustrate vitali until he quit. this wasn't one of vitali's cherry picked blob opponents who can barely move. that's why he hesitated. george washington never hesitated, neither did sean connery in the rock. real heroes.
Dude how can you compare anyone to Sean Connery in that movie... that man was a beast!!!......
Second time I've seen Crawford live. He looked great and had the house jumping. Alot of PRs here in DFW(me included) and even they were going nuts for T-Bud.
Hes improved alot and has limitless potential. The guy has the goods.
as if this would somehow affect me, what's america got to do with a billion hahahahaha you are probably an indigenous american. half german half shepperd
tell you what, my folks says i can't be a doctor because i always hit some nerves so i became a poster.
Noo im actually not bothered at all... im on a beach vacationing in Puerto Rico smoking Maui Wowee. I actually feel great.
Im having fun messing with you. Like i said your either an idiot or the best troll in the world. I think you'd like us to think your a troll when in reality you were lost after the initial statement and is now trying to save face by acting like you've been trolling from the beginning. It reeks of desperation. Lol. But i like you Rath, no matter how dumb you come across youve made me laugh more then a lifetimes worth.
Manny should fight Danny. I'd like to see Manny's speed and combos vs Danny's counter punching and power..
I think Porter bullies him.. Mikey doesn't deserve it.. but it would sell. Manny vs Anyone would sell.
I think BC beats him easy. Castaño is super underrated.. he's a pretty good boxer puncher.
Interesting that PBC requested to go after the WBO when typically they dont even acknowledged it. Maybe cuz Brian isnt really associated with PBC tho Haymon advises him.. probably closer to a Khan or Jacob's, rather then a Spence or Wilder..
You mean in your circle of alts? Cause normal boxing fans and casuals would swallow that up. It was #1 most anticipated fight of 2013 in an ESPN poll. Cause you know, fans like exciting fights and FOTY follow ups
My circle of Alts? Im not an ALT buddy... im the same JonDaCon from boxingunfiltered and fighthype.
and NO normal fans dont wanna see it... Fanboys like you do. Ive seen this fight 4x already. And your talking about ESPN? thats where you get your boxing info from? Fatass Dan Rafael?
Evidently you can.
AJ landed more shots, the cleaner shots, the more effective shots, imposed the style he wanted on the fight.
He made the adjustments required. Ruiz did exactly the opposite.
If that's not a lesson then I don't know what is.
Joshua was far from perfect, by the way. He won't go near Ruiz again just in case he bothers to prepare.
I disagree... AJ landed more Jabs, which can be expected being taller and longer. But he hardly threw power shots.. Ruiz's punches seemed to bother AJ more then the other way around.
I dont think he "imposed" the style he wanted.. he wanted to run through him but couldn't... he was left to settle with winning a snoozefest while attempting not to engage.
He got a much bigger guarantee than the reported 1M purse.
He didn't even sell 5k tickets.
The gate was over a million which is impressive nonetheless.
Whether this fight did 275k or 300k buys, it was a success and FAR surpasses anything a non-Canelo or non-Pacquiao PPV has done over the past few years. It did more than DOUBLE what Crawford/Khan did and his other PPV surpassed the 300k buys range. Spence has separated himself from the non-superstars.
He possibly could've gotten more but I doubt he did..
They did just under $1mill which is terrible. That's like an average of $200 a ticket. They sold 3500 but comped 3900.. smfh
I really enjoy watching Matthysse... I had him winning both the Zab and Alexander fight and im a big Zab fan. Glad hes bacc at work but man he sure looks outta shape.
anywho,
WAR MATTHYSSE!!!
I've watched alot of boxing in my lifetime.. never seen 2 points taken away like that. Especially considering these guys are novices and barely know the rules.
There was someone calling for Bute by 3rd round stoppage lol. I mean Bute has been given easy opponents all his career then comes Carl Froch and Jean Pascals of the world. To think there are ppl saying Andre Ward ducked Bute. He put up a decent fight but thats cuz Jean Pascal fought the wrong one he shouldve pressured more instead of that hit n run he does.
Yea i kept calling that idiot out. Making random ass predictions with no basis behind it...smh.
Lots of ppl hard on Kelly.. in fairness I did think he lost.. but Ray is a savvy veteran and all this was, was a too big of step up in class. Kid is young, has above average talent.. I'm not sold on him quite yet but he still has a bit more time to develop if he can focus on his fundamentals and take his fights more seriously.
He isnt doing himself any favor with these old school judges either.
Why does everyone keep saying Fury took his best shot? He literally has taken Wilder's weakest and still almost died.
Wilder was hitting air for most of the fight and besides the 9th, dropped him with like a minute left in the 12th.. I'm sure there was a ton of steam missing at that point.
Live numbers dont matter as much if the fight instantly goes viral thereafter... Showtime on FB had 2.5mill views over night.
Showtime's YouTube had 1.5mill... CBS Sports YouTube has 1mill.
Someone posted a screenshot of a publication that had 25mill views..
Andrade and Bud are both in the same boat to me.. they're both content with the amount of money they are getting, vs the type of opponent they fight, while relying on the narrative they are "boogie men" and so good nobody of note wants to fight them..
Mora loves ruining fights.. Lopez was def winning and looking real good at times.
I saw Valdez live vs that Italian guy a couple fights ago in TX and at times he should the ability to be outboxed. He'll lose against a slicc fighter if he doesnt work on his defense, angles and footwork.
