The heavyweight division is messed up. Possible reasons are as follows: 1. The talent is not respected (more that likely justifiable) 2. The top heavyweights are not fighting each other. 3. No big stars. 4. The alphabet soup Not to mention things like Toney's failed steroid test, Klitschko’s back surgery and a champion like Brewster, who may lose tonight but is Golota that much of an improvement?

I believe that Taylor can beat Hopkins. But it is hard to say that he will. I can't imagine Hopkins losing, come to think of it and I can't imagine Taylor losing either. Somethings got to give! Ill tell you this Taylor has got skill! But Hopkins hasn't lost in about, what? ... 20 years!

The heavyweight division stinks right now but with boxers like Clavin Brock (25-0, 20 KOs) and Samual Peter (23-0, 20 KOs), the future of the heavyweight division might be on an up swing! There is some good prospects out there, like Audley Harrison (17-0, 12 KOs) who is now back, and Joe Mesi could come back. When these people move up the ranks the heavyweight division might be worth watching again, maybe even great to watch. Then we can forget Brewster, Byrd, Ruiz, and Toney, by the way, speaking of Toney, when you have a 38 year old fat middleweight step in and easily win a heavyweight title, something is wrong.
