Rounds are allowed to be scored 10-10 round if the judge can not be convinced either fighter dominated the other.
Sure rounds can be scored 10-10... but they never are.
As a RJJ hater IN THE PAST, I am eager to see what he has left (if anything) and probably will root for him to at least make this fight competitive...

well I am making my argument before Taylor...that is not really that great of an example of a fight in arguing Hopkins' case...mainly because he lost...and a guy like Hagler would have gotten Taylor out of there in his prime...
the best case you can make for Hopkins vs Taylor is that Hops was 40...but he still blew away the fight...which takes some of his legacy luster away...because then you have to think about how he would beat a Hagler if he fought that way...

Why are all the rounds you see as even being scored only for Hopkins? Why not score them even if you believe they are even? Your scoring methodology is seriously flawed and not professional.
Rounds are never scored even. If even rounds would have been scored even the fight would not have been close. Taylor won maybe two rounds convincingly, while bernard won at least four unquestionably.
Hopkins is 40! The way he played jermaine was incredible. No 40 year old in middle weight history could have done what b-hop did. I'm not going to keep arguing the decision, some of us think it was rediculous... others think it was the right call. I don't think there is any dispute, however, as to who was hurt more. Bernard is arguably the smartest fighter in the history of boxing. He analyzes his opponents in every round, discovering their flaws, and executing very effective couters. Bernard may not be one of the most powerfull middleweights in history, or even the top 10 skilled middleweights, but he is deffinately one of the smartest boxers of all times. Taking advantage of his oppositions weaknesses to beat them. I believe hopkins will come back to beat JT in the ramatch, and hopefully fight once more after that (really iffy). I hope bernard does enough to convince his critics that he belongs in the class of boxing's elite's. He has worked for it... he has earned it.
I can easily see how the fight could have been scored for Hopkins...I also can see how it could have been scored for Taylor as well(what were you looking for), there were rounds where Nard was firing in the teens for total punches thrown, a fighter didnt need to be better than Nard they just needed to outwork him and for a some of thge duller rounds that is wha the kid (taylor) did...

Robberies are for fights like Whitaker vs. Chavez and Augustus vs. Burton...fights that absolutely psotiviely could have gone to 1 guy and 1 guy only...when you have 50 % of the people saying it went 1 way and 50 saying it went the other way how the hell could you consider the fight to be a robbery.
Dont overuse this term, save it for the right time and the right fights, this is not one of them-even the hardest of hard NArd lovers should admit that a robbery is not what took place last saturday.
Did Nard deserve to win, sure, maybe...was he robbed-no, his activity level in the first half of the fight leads me to believe he has one person to blame for his belts going goodbye and it is not the judges.
I'm not a hopkins fan.. i'm a boxing fan. Hopkins is the better fighter and was the better fighter on saturday. This "outworked" hoopla is bull. Is that all a fighter needs to do to win a fight these days is swing his fists more than the other guy. Hopkins landed better punches and a higher percentage, he landed more punches overall and the numbers on power punches were not even close. B-hop landed more power punches in every round except for rounds 2,6, and 7.

even the idiot judge that scored round 12 for taylor didnt have the fight 9 to 3. what fight were you watching?
Headbutt's are not what caused jermaine's face to swell up like a water balloon. Hopkins won a lot more rounds than people are giving him credit for. I have seen the fight 4 times, I believe that it was an even fight after 8 rounds. Watch it again before you argue, jemaine throws an ass load of punches but lands hardly any. Hopkins just outscored him most of the fight.
I don't want to argue about how this fight will turn out, I am just ancious to watch it. Peter has been very exciting thus far and a lot of people have high hopes for him. After this fight we will all have a much better idea of how far Samuel Peter will go, and how quickly he will get there.
