Ward using headbutts and elbows was bad but what made it worse was the ref allowing it to continue to happen.The worst thing of all Ward didn't need to use the dirty tactics.He beats Kessler with just his skills.Ward beats Kessler 10 out of 10 times without fouling.I hate seeing good fighters using dirty tactics to win when they don't even need to.

I don't care to much for Froch but i don't blame him for not wanting to fight Bhop. If he fights and wins then everybody will say he beat an old man.If he loses then he will be called over rated because he lost to an old man.Its a lose-lose situation. He would have to KO Bhop to get any credit for the fight.He cant KO Bhop and the fight between them would look bad as everybody knows Bhop makes any fight he is in look bad. This would be another thing that would be held against him for fighting Bhop,that he let an old fight make him look bad even in winning.Hope this make sense to people.

You wrong my brother.I don't claim Cotto is a coward.I don't believe any man who gets into the squared circle is a coward.Cotto has fought top competition.He has never ran or ducked a fight.But he knows he is getting to the end of his career.I think he prolly wants 2 possibly 3 more fight before he calls it quits.If he fights and loses to may,pac or canelo he can still fight 1 or 2 more fights but if he fights GGG he will put into retirement immediately.Add the beatings he got for margacheato & pac and then multiply it by 100 and that's what he would get in fighting GGG.Cotto wouldn't lay down in a fight and his corner would not throw in towel.He would go out on his shield and that's something you don't want to do against GGG especially at this point in Cotto's career.I like Cotto but I believe what he is doing with the MW belt BS.
The only title holder who is too gutless to face him is Cotto. The other two titles are currently in play and until they are decided, we do not know what will happen. I believe that both Lee and Lemieux would be willing to fight him in unification fights. I also believe that Cotto will be stripped and the WBC title will be in GGG's possession in due time.
As for the SMW division, it is pretty void of talent. One Dirrell brother has been exposed and the other would be little difficulty for GGG. Ward is not ready as per his own team's words. That leaves little else for him. Sturm and Abraham both ducked him as middleweights and there is nothing to say they would not do the same now. Chavez Jr. is no longer a factor and Froch would probably retire before fighting GGG.
There are more fights for Golovkin at MW than at SMW.

I thought it WAS the fighters call who he fights next.say if I'm pro and I want to fight boxer A, Can my promoter stop me.I thought the promoters worked for the fighters.To me this don't make sense.If two fighters want to really fight each other can the promoters stop them? Man, boxing fans have changed since yesteryear. I have never understood the argument from a fans perspective about a fighters PPV sales. It shouldn't matter what a guys PPV sales are at all to a fan. If a fighter who is considered the #2 PFP fighter in the world & is in the same weight division as the #1 PFP in the world but his PPV sucks then according to some fans on here the #1 guy shouldn't fight him.Phucking makes me sick to see fans making excuse after excuse why this fighter shouldn't fight that fighter.Mayweather has been ducking Pac for the last 5 years and his fan bois continue to carry water for him.PATHETIC,PATHETIC,PATHETIC!!!!
Now it is somewhat happening with Cotto. His fans say he is the man at MW but make excuses for why he shouldn't fight GGG. If he didn't want to fight the best MWs then why the hell did he fight for the MW strap then. I always liked Cotto but its bull***** that he won the MW belt and wants to defend it against non ranked guys who don't fight at MW. We have guys like Quillen dropping his belt & yet still have fans supporting him. Stevenson is clearly ducking Kovalev & he has fans making excuses for him. Now Wilder is on that same path and his fans are saying he should milk the title for a couple years fighting cans. What has happened to boxing fans. If a fighter wants to make up excuses for not fighting somebody that is one thing but for the boxing fans accepting and supporting and in some cases making up new excuses for them is something so monumentally stupid it defies description.

Is Cotto a coward for ducking GGG? IMO no. Is he smart for avoiding GGG? IMO yea. Cotto knows that his chances of even making it to the 3rd round is slim & none and slim already left the building. If Cotto didn't want to fight any of the big dogs at MW he should of said that after beating Sergio instead of holding belt hostage. Cotto knows he can fight lesser opponents and even if he gets beat he could make money fighting other fighters afterwards.If he fights GGG he knows that he would take to much punishment and his career would be finished.
How can some people on here call themselves boxing fans when they are only fans of certain boxers.You cant call yourself a boxing fan and in the same breath make excuses for a MW champ NOT to fight who everybody in the world says is the top guy at MW.How can somebody say GGG should move up and fight Ward because other fighters have moved up but completely ignore that Ward already fought at LH and moved down the SMW and now refuses to move back to LH when he has no opponents at SMW to fight.He has cleaned out SMW and talked about moving up, but since Stevenson and Kov are in LH, him and his fans make a million excuses why he shouldn't move up.Pathetic!!!
