Hatton's style will drive Manny nuts as he hasn't seen the kind of pressure Hatton is about to give him. Hatton will be the bigger stronger fighter and I saw drastic improvement in his boxing and timing under Floyd senior's strategy. You guys can eat the DLH hype all you want. Just remember the pressure is on Manny. Hatton also has a great chin and has taken big shots before (mayweather was the only one to catch him). Manny been knocked out in the first round b4 and another time back in the day when he was alot lighter. He hasn't felt a REAL punch at the 140-147 range yet as DLH couldn't catch him.
I think Manny is great but its like the great little guy versus the great bigger guy. Hatton is not gonna sit there like DLH. He is gonna keep coming like angry animal.

The only fighters that have ever given Pacquiao any trouble were extremely gifted DEFENSIVE boxer/counter-punchers. Morales's win over Pac in their first fight demonstrated that at the time the filipino could be outboxed, and JMM has the perfect style to counter Pac's. Manny's ridiculous hand/footspeed combined with numerous angles and accuracy would cut anyone up, and Ricky cuts up reaal easily. Also, many people don't realize that most of Pac's KO's come from his UNDERrated left hook, NOT the OVERrated left cross. If Ricky lunges in and gets caught with it in the mid rounds, it's good night for the hitman...Pac's left hook clears twice as hard as PBF's, albeit with probably crappier timing. It's the same reason why everyone says standing toe to toe with Pacquiao is suicidal, the reason why JMM smacked him silly, and the same reason that Pac would have absolutely no chance whatsoever against PBF.
Unless Mayweather Sr. can teach Ricky to turn into a master boxer/counter-puncher, or JMM/PBF wear a Ricky mask and fight in the ring that night, there's no way a brawling in-figher can take on one of the fastest boxer-puncher turned out-fighters in history.
Pacquiao TKO Rd. 10, or UD if it goes past that.
BTW, I hate Pacquiao and think he's Vastly overrated. Mosley with his hand speed and Floyd would both destroy him, and JMM would win a third fight by UD.
But not Ricky.
lol Manny Pacquiao is currently working on a new music album, a television show on primetime in the Philippines, two movies, a possible movie with Stallone in the US, working into politics, and managing his new businesses...on top of trying to raise his new born daughter and the rest of his family, promoting his fight with hatton, and preparing for training camp.
Actually, I think he's been doing crap like that for the past few years.
I doubt JMM would pose that much of a distraction from whatever the hell he's doing now.
Bahh I don't know why people keep saying Manny is such a smaller guy. Hatton has a 1/2 inch height advantage. That's it. Manny has the advantage in EVERY other physical attribute. Frame, arm length, muscle mass, muscle/fat ratio, cardiovascular fitness, training regiment...and on top of that, he has significant speed and footwork advantages (personally, I think they should look into what's in Pac's water bottle, since he's evolved so much physically so late in his career).
Anyway, the reasons that people give for Hatton being a favorite- his size and style- I disagree and discredit completely. The only fighters that can take out Pac's aggressive offensive style is with an equally effective Defensive style, or a sigificantly better offensive style...neither of which hatton possesses.
I do, however, disagree that his tactics are dirty. Many other fighters have held and clinched, but the only ones who get mocked for it are the ones who are actually effective with it. I'll give Ricky all the props in the world if he can utilize his grab and go style against Pac.
