Any news on this!?!? I saw the fight yesterday and when I heard the grunt when asked by the refferi if he was ok, I kind of new it... Even Teddy, who was calling the fight, was kind of anxious and a little saddenned by what happened!

I don't think it was a bad stoppage. I mean, Katsidis was still wobbled when the ref stopped on the count of 8 and he let him continue. So let's stop blaming the ref on this one (if you want to see a bad stoppage, watch the Vera vs Lee fight again! :( ). I blame this on Katsidis! He got way too careless and although he has "limited" experience he forgot one thing useful when you are wobbled and still don't have your legs full and trying to get the cobwebs out of your head... that is... TAKE A KNEE!!!!!! So easy!!! It seems these young kids have not watched any old fights and learned the tricks of the trade! But oh well... great fight nonetheless.

The only thing that Juanma proved is that he's slow and sluggish, and that any active B level boxer will separate his head from his body. Yup... still the "way-too-lax" defense... if you notice juanma landed on punch while the trainer landed like 4 or 5,even wobbled juanma The trainer shouldn't be suspended; JuanMa tried to attack him and was in the process of throwing a shot when the trainer countered with a check-hook. Then, the brawl broke out, in which the trainer, surprisingly, got the better of it all. ... He's not who he used to be, as the fight with the trainer proved. JuanMa was almost KO'ed by him. Yup. It was really surprising that the trainer basically almost KO'd him... well, I guess it's not really surprising, just unexpected! Gave him a welt as well as a reminder... So, agree, Juanma should pack it in.

Hmmm... I remember seeing Luis Collazo on Victor Ortiz corner for the Andre Berto fight if I'm not mistaken. Anyway, I do think that both of them KNOW how each other "work". Yes Victor does have the power edge but never count out "Louie". I think this will be a very good competitive fight! Thanks.

From a rabbit punch. Farcia would get the same credit from me if he had kicked Amir in the balls and the ref counted him out. Khan wins EASY at 147 as long as tey dont have another Haymon ref in there letting Gift benefot from illegal punches Errrmm... can you point me via videos or photos where did Garcia hit and knocked Khan with a "rabbit punch"? Have watched the fight like 10 times and I don't see that at all... Sounds like non-sense to me.

Wow, this is sad man, prayers to him and his family. Hope they catch the person that pulled the trigger, PR is out of control.. Puerto Rico is NOT out of control, but some people are! Its the people that make the country what it is, and I stand by my statement that PR is out of control, Everyone has to have bars on there homes, the Vocero drips blood everyday you cant stop at a stop light at night.., So what if he was partying?..who cares what does that have to do with someone killing them?.. Do you live here? Cause I do, and where I live none of the things you mention happens. Maybe it is because I know people who truly know how to party (i.e. drugs are out of the question...). Point is, you involve yourself with drugs, anything can happen... VIOLENCE can happen! All that ***** you read on "El Vocero" is usually: 1) Drug related 2) Gang related 3) Infidelity You stay away from "Area Metro" and don't get involve in any of those 3, you are good to go! So my main point is, if he wasn't getting high in that car with drugs all over the place, he would be fine... so it's not really the Country, is the people who live life on the edge... Sadly, Macho was one of those! :(

I was never a fan of Berto's, especially after he struggled so much in his fight against Louie (Collazo). After that fight, excellent BTW, I knew he would have trouble! I WANTED to see that Mosley vs Berto fight at the time but now... meh! He just doesn't do it for me... Should be an Ok fight this one.

Santos was pathetic on this fight! 19 pounds?!?!?! He looked like a cow! And you know what's worse? I wanted him to win just to see him fight Kermit here in Puerto Rico! Too bad... he talked a lot of trashed and couldn't back it up.
