maybe im biast because i like shane mosley so much ... however, when I have watched delahoya vs shane 2 many and many of times ... and its really just a matter of opinion ... either you like hard punching WOW punches or you jabbing boxing skills etc ... i personally think shane won the fight ...no one will ever change my mind on that ... now lets look at the steroid situation... did you notice any significant difference in mosley when he fought delahoya the 2nd time ? ? ? NO... he fought the same exact way he has always fought ... delahoya gassed out toward the end of the fight and mosley pushed on strong JUST LIKE HE HAS ALWAYS DONE ... steroids in that fight were a dud ...
you do realize that fight was pretty much even on the cards and the only way Mosley was going to guarantee a win was to do something dramatic late. Not saying he was in danger of losing on MY card, but many people had it close. Mayorga made Mosley fight his fight. Don't act like Mosley wanted it to be that much of a battle or expected it to be.

I think he would easily beat Mayorga though, Floyd is an excellent boxer and Spinks took Mayorga apart with a boxing display. He'd have problems with Cotto though but probably win.

couple of points: The fact that Mosley-Mayorga was competitive and Floyd-Baldomir wasn't says more about Mosley than it does Mayweather. Mayorga and Baldomir are on the same level. One guy made his opponent look like a fool, the other struggled.
secondly, Vernon Forrest is not Floyd Mayweather.

Baldomir outweighed him by about 25 pounds. Did you really expect Floyd to slug it out with a guy who can end the fight with one haymaker? This is boxing, not UFC. Fighters have brains and talent, and use both.

Quite a lot of people are picking Mosley now, that just tells you how much of a live opponent Shane really is. I am confident that Floyd will win, but Shane does have a good chance, hes a great fighter in his own right. At the end of the day, theres only one thing we can all agree on, and that is that we are happy that such a big fight is happening.
Definitely, if mayweather keeps the fight in the middle of the ring... I think he will obviously win the fight easy... but Shane eats punches like nothing and keeps coming forward ... Then I can almost promise that the judges will give the fight to the person who is aggressive and bringing the fight...
