Why is this even a topic? She is the best thing that UFC has to offer. She is beating her competition like rag dolls. But like one poster said she doesn't have any competition. She is fighting part time cashiers at Walmart. She is their hype machine and their is no female out there that can beat her, not a Cyborg or Holly Holm. Yes I mentioned Holly, she has been dominant in the UFC. That shows you the level of competition in MMA. She is undefeated without a huge MMA resume because she has some boxing skills. This MMA boxing thing is a joke. It is comparing apples to oranges. She would whip a women boxer in a MMA environment but get whipped by an amatuer women pugalist in boxing. Just as she would whip some men who are size, that are boxers in the octagon. Square circle she would get her ass handed to her by a 14 year old Golden gloves champion. This whole topic was brought up by the Espys. That is a joke in itself. Look who won the courage award for being a cross dresser.
Think about this; how much better off would Showtime he without Mayweather's ridiculous contract? You can't fault Mayweather. You have to fault Showtime. They overvalued Floyd's popularity. There is no doubt that Floyd is extremely talented but his safety first style is not very fan friendly. Yes he did good numbers against Canelo, but that was mainly because of Canelo. The Money team knew that Canelo poised no threat, high reward limited risk, because Canelo is still green and less active than Floyd. I knew Canelo wasn't all that when he fought Trout. Other than Canelo, I don't believe any of Floyd's recent fights were PPV worthy, nor Pac's fights for that matter. These fights are premium cable fights, at best, excluding Marquez v PAC and Canelo v May excluded. Most of these fights are forced upon us and the hardcore fans are the ones who pay. Look how many people watched Marquez v. Alvarado on HBO. You pay Mayweather to fight Guerrero or Maidana on non PPV Showtime for like 10 million you would get more subscribers and double the viewership of that of Marquez v. Alvarado, same with PAC v. Rios on HBO. This is what hurts boxing, these opponents with limited résumés being put on bloated main event cards with very little promotion. The networks do all the promotions not promoters.
Maidana put on a great show, but let lost that fight. When Floyd threw he was accurate. That is thing, Floyd doesn't throw enough. Maidana was wild but always pressing the action.
I don't think I would want a rematch. I rather watch Floyd fight Khan and Broker rematch Maidana. By the way, Floyd is not TBE! Maybe TBE cherry picking slow, methodical Latin fighters.
The fight will never happen. She could or would, nobody will ever know. He is a pugilist and she fights MMA.
Billie Jean King and Bobby Riggs reference really? Is Serena calling out Djokovic?
Get off Ronda's breasts and pay $60 to watch her beat Misha Tate for the third time.
I wish Andre would fight outside of Oakland. I want to see the so called #2 p4p be more active. I don't know if he is diva or being horribly mismanaged. There are a lot of fights to be made. Tons of money is being left on the table. I also agree his fights are boring as hell, but he has marketability and a pretty good resume. He just has to take the leap of faith out of Oaktown. Where would the Hammer be if he never left Oakland? Right where Andre is now? In Oakland with no dance partner.
This is getting beyond ridiculous.
Fight that dude McGregor or that dude Cyborg. Keep May weather's name out your mouth and keep fighting part time Walmart cashiers.
You are a terrific athlete but stay in your lane.
