wow i live about 20 min away from the casino and my g.f lives about 5 min away. im surprised i didnt know of this until just now. when is the fight suppose to take place and if tickets are still on sale where can i get them??

Wow you're not very smart. A truck stop? Have you ever even been there? It is quite far from beign a "truck stop". It is actually one of the hottest spots in South Florida at the moment and in case you forgot South Florida is pretty much the party capital of the country. Miami and Ft. Lauderdale are HUGE cities. To call the Hard Rock a "truck stop" is just an idiotic comment.
Yeah, I stayed till after the final fight, talking to Gerry Cooney. Remind me which fighters were fighting...If it was the very last fight I dont remember much of it cuz I almost got into it with this drunk retard sitting behind me who ended up getting his faced clawed off by some strippers who he was trying to hit on and ended up saying the wrong thing.
The first fight after the Sultan fight. I saw Cooney too. Got him to sign my ticket stub. He was working the crowd pretty much the entire night. Haha.
The Hard Rock is actually about 1 Minute from where I lvie and it is a VERY nice facility. I went to a the Ray Austin-Sultan Ibragimov fight there. It isn't that big but it is quite nice. I also find it funny how it keeps being advertised as "Miami". It's in Hollywood which is a suburb of Ft. Lauderdale. We're roughly 30-45 minutes from Miami. Just thoguht I'd chime in.
Yeah, I was at that fight too. Was hoping to meet Tyson, but he never showed. And you're right...it's annoying as HELL that its advertised in Miami and not Lauderdale. I gotta commute over an hour from Miami to get there.
Then again, I gotta commute 30 minutes to work and I'm only about 10 miles away. Shitty traffic down here.
Did you happen to stay for the walkout fights? I was getting such a kick out of the hometown guy taking a beating. All his buddies were there and for some reason were actually surprised when he lost the decision. Their fighter was aweful. No skill at all.
