So it's a paperwork thing?
Margs may have been raised in Mexico but does some of his training in the U.S., so he's not strictly a "Mexican-bred" boxer. Does that have anything to do with it?
Some of you American-born "Mexican nationalists", please explain the logic here
I guess that's how the thread starter is doing it, thats why hes included de la hoya because he has duel citizenship (personally I wouldn't include him). But anyways what does Margarito training in the U.S. have to do with him not being strictly "mexican bred"? he was born here but raised in Mexico his whole life. He doesn't even speak english. Despite him not being born there, he is culturally more mexican then people like De La Hoya and Vargas who were born and raised in America. That's why they are not entirely excepted by Mexicans in Mexico.
I said "Mexican-bred" boxer. I was wondering if some of you count the guy as a Mexican boxer if he gets all his training in Mexico, regardless of where he's born.
But this part of your response answers my question. Some people are considered more culturally Mexican than others. But I wouldn't want to get into this cause I don't see what that has to do with boxing.
ah didn't catch that, but yeah I guess :dunno: he still a mexican bred boxer regardless of where he trains, I think for the most part he trained most of his time in Mexico just up into recently where hes gone with his new trainer the overrated Robert Garcia.
YOUR PEOPLE ARE STILL SLAVES! I have your daddy cutting my grass right now! and your mom hand washing the $hit stains out of my boxers!
there is NO evidence in your people today that would suggest they can do anything but dunk and excel in sports. Even Obama can't roll without his teleprompter.
Look Jamal, just be proud at what little the world has offered to your people but don't exaggerate your b.s. as if your people have accomplished alot.
LMAO and he's half white. Obama got voted in because he was at the right place at the right time. Like running against John McCain.
lol lets see a full blooded negroid in the white house
mulatto! :headbang:
Oh my fukkin god wow.ok your officially a BS mexican. That's worse then the ts's explenation.
??? a BS mexican? :lol1: yea because a fucken rican is going to tell me wtf I am lol, please kid stfu. I said he holds duel citizenship because thats how the threadstarter is counting the Mexico VS. Puerto Rican wins, which I personally wouldn't do (De La Hoya has mexican citizenship but he is NOT considered A real Mexican by most). Margarito on the other hand was raised in Mexico.
And what about these mofos?

Funny you like to pick out the minority. The same guys you people like to call "Uncle Tom". :lol1:
lets wait until he comes with afro centric bullsh1t (i.e. claiming black egyptians, black isrealites, black moors etc) for accomplishments  pathetic.
Why would you count Margs as Mexican and not Vargas? They're both U.S. born.
edit: And if you're "El Chicano", you're also American; so why do you care?
Margarito has duel citizenship, and he was raised in Mexico not the U.S.

beats be a dead broke crack head who collects food stamps and welfare checks. **** outta here.....
Because 132 isnt a real weight. WTF, I thought this was pro boxing and not amateurs. 132 is an amateur weight. If I was Pacquiao, I woulda told Morales to take that **** to the Golden Gloves cuz their is no 132 in the pros.
Brilliant! :D
self fucken ownage. :lol1:
tonights fight was embarrassing, im still skeptical of marquez doing anything significant at 140 but Timothy Bradley did not impress me tonight and all the hype they did was stupid. :nonono:
Show me 1 link of Marquez saying one sentence in english other than "Thanks" or "Wheres my cup of urine."
your an idiot, your mumbling idol cant even go through one sentence without fucken mumbling his words so stfu.
i havent read anything from him regarding wanting the fight.
he called out humberto soto for the wbc light weight title, and said his promoter was gonna work on getting him that fight. I doubt it will happen though since soto is already fighting this month then a rematch with antillon in may. Barrera probably doesn't care about having a match with rios since he also holds a light weight title, something hes been wanting for a while
