I'm surprised at all the people here who say trinidads wrapping was the same as margarito's.
The HUGE difference was that Trinidad put extra gauze on his, while margarito put PLASTER on his hands. Not even in the same galaxy if you ask me

I thought the fight had been stopped too when that happened. I think one thing that I noticed about cotto is that his demeanor is a getting a little more... not cocky... but more charismatic. Don't get me wrong he's always been charismatic, but in that mumra type of charisma. I seen him celebrating and smiling a lot more, which is good for him, I think, in the long run because his stock will only grow with the casual boxing community the more accessible he seems as a human being.

I don't understand all this racist bullshit. I'm puerto rican and love cotto as a fighter. But at the same time I'm not going to come in here and talk shit about someone elses country. One of my fav boxers right now is JMM and he's a freaking great mexican boxer. There's plenty out there.
stop saying they don't have any fighters to look forward to. Maybe not in the welterweight but there are plenty out ther.
I think the amount of critisism the Kilt bros. are getting is ridiculous. To my memory, I don't remember them outright ducking anybody. They're fighting who they have to fight and making them look like fools. That's what you expect a great fighter to do. I feel like some of you want them to fight down to the fighters level to make it a good fight. but then you all would say, "well he almost got beat by this guy, and he's a bum". So many contradictory statements here it's almost funny.
I wouldn't say they are the best of all time, but they are def. ATGs. They have been dominating for last couple of years, and I could actually see them fighting some of the greats and giving them hard times, if not beating them.
That's just my humble opinion.
