Sugar Ray Leonard is lighter handed than Shane Mosley, while Leonard has been hurt himself and dropped in fights by Hearns who I believe beat him in their last encounter and was robbed, while I believe Hearns would again have hard time landing that crushing right hand, it would hurt mayweather if id did land but i think that its safe to say that floyd has not been dropped or hurt significantly like Hearns has been hurt and knocked out and more than one occasion as he had no chin and like Leonard and Hearns first fight would have succumbed to Floyds hand speed and offence later in the fight.. So i thin kFloyd just silenced the critics and needs his dew credit for the ass whoopin he put on shane, makes shane look foolish for saying the same 'ass whoopin' line at the first press conference to confirm the fight... humble pie!!
Related to AJ, course not, who cares how long I been posting... I've boxed at amatuer level myself so know my boxing, just gave my two cents on things, in response to original post, and quote i was replying to.
Are you related to AJ by any chance? Just curious, you've posted 21 times in 11 years and your sig is about him?
Fully agree, this is his 15th fight, I remember mike tyson having nearly a fight a month in his first two years fighting.. it will take time to develop, tucking in his chin, working the damn jab, not leaving his right arm forward after throwing it being open for the counter, headmovement, losing a little muscle mass for quickness, the good thing he showed in the first round venom and that mean streak, he got rocked and kept fighting as he had heart, least he did not do a frank bruno vs jumbo cummings and just drop his arms and lose his senses, he weathered the storm kept his compusure and kept punching. If Dillian Whyte goes on tp becomes a world champion down the line, guess your AJ exposure talk will seem a little weak there. As remember he was a touted undefeated prospect..
All things he can work on now they have been brought to attention, Joshua is work in progress he's got a long way to go before he's the finished product.
Wats Wid Roys Biceps??

Roy does look in shape, but his left bicep looks abnormal...
Lets hope he can turn back the clock 2moro night!
David Haye should have just fought a string of those Euro bums. If he'd stayed active and built up a string of early knockouts he'd have eventually got the Anthony Joshua fight for a lot more money than he made in the two losses to Tony Bellew. Could have got to about 35-2 (33 KO) fighting palookas, then gone out in a couple of rounds against AJ.
He could have done that your right but I think Haye has an ego and thought Bellew would be an easy nights work but unknown to him. The wear and tear he his put his cruiserweight body through all these years caught up to him and he was half what he was when fought Chisora.
The showboating can be done against lesser opponents. First he needs to work on his head movement, not swing his punches as he swings so wildly he can be read. Needs to sort that terrible footwork. Needs to work the jab not to load up but to give him openings. Do not close the distance too fast and smother his own work. And WORK RATE!! HIs dad had the same problem. He does not seem to have a huge stamina problem like his dad did.. he has potential but just because he has sparred with 'slow' froch and groves does not make you champion. But steadily facing better opposition.. back to the drawing board son.
Ps: get your dad out the limelight as can only have one trainer!! As the corner advice was crap from his dad at times. Should have told not to give away first 5 rounds!
