Canelo landed the cleaner shots but ineffective. Still a good fight though. Don't be so emotional. Golovkin beat them both. You know it.
What do you mean ineffective. The same argument can be made about ggg. Just because ggg didn't show signs of being hurt(like an experienced elite) doesn't mean he wasn't
Boxing fans get worked because we feel MMA fans are disrespecting our sport.
It's nothing against MMA athletes but the fact is they have too many trades to work on vs somebody who spends day in and day out punching. These ****ers need to learn bjj, muay thai, wrestling ...etc. That's no an easy task, but it's also the same reason a boxer like Malik Scott or Tony Thompson would first round KO Brock Lesnar without breaking a sweat.
I would put Dmitry Bivol lightheavy against the best of the best heavyweights from the UFC and I'd bet cash money he knocks them out in one round, but definitely two
The fact that GGG is in anybody's p4p is shameful. Jacobs was not equivalent to a Sergei Kovalev and he did not beat Jacobs the way Ward beat the Krusher. This is downright shameful. He ducked Andre Ward and refuses to move up in class. Don't get me wrong the dude has skills and is a great fighter, he just ain't no damn P4P. Roman Gonzalez and Carlos Cuadras should both be ranked higher than GGG.
Im fairly certain 95% of all top level boxers in ALL weight classes juice for recovery. As well know, steroids would have little to no effect on punching power so it would make sense that some fighters don't have punching power that increases with their weight.
I agree the first Maidana fight was close and the second was an easy fight for Floyd. If Floyd could out point a crazy awkward workhorse like Maidana than Conor doesn't stand a chance. People keep saying Conor has a punchers chance, but all of Floyds opponents who were well trained top ranked professional stood a chance and guess what they could never leverage the extremely sought after 'puncher's chance'. Pacman barely landed a shot on Floyd and he is just a good of a puncher as Conor coupled with better speed and work output
You guys are seriously underestimating Miller. The big boy can move and he's a lot faster than he appears. I want to see how he does against Iron chinned Dominic Brazeale
I like both Parker and Ruiz. Both dudes have the fastest hands at Heavyweight, but their fight could have gone either way. I would have been good with a draw. The point I'm trying to make is Ruiz and Takam are both far better than anybody Wilder has fought. Both Parker and Ruiz make short work of Gerald Washington, much in the same way Wilder and Big Baby did.
