True. I think the weight is the drama in this fight. Broner could do with winning one, but Mikey and Robert are dealing with Floyd now. I think Floyd is pegging him as a big thing. I was before he dropped out in 2013. This will be the confirmation if Mikey looks good.
I never really spoke about Broner in here but since he agreed to fight Porter I just considered that he was done as they fed him to one lion straight after the other in Maidana. He's turned into a PPV gatekeeper IMO.
Yeah if I'm purely looking at skills I still go with Mikey but Broner has size and a really good counter.
I've honestly not seen it in recent years. I mean the best broner looked was against Molina for me.
The big question is how Mikey's chin is gonna hold up. Broner dropped Porter late and Porter is a sturdy big guy.

If Broner opens up, all i see are more opportunites for the counters by Garcia. Garcia one of the most accurate with shots and timing and Broner has a leaky guard at the best of times. Still a good fight though. Weight is the only thing attracting me to this but Mikey's a really big 135 anyways so I can't see a problem there.
Broner is talented and he's never really been beat up. He looked awful against Maidana but he had some good moments especially towards the end of the fight when Maidana started to fade. I'm solid picking Mikey but he hasn't faced anyone like Broner. If this fight get into the late rounds who is to say how Garcia will hold up. He really hasn't gone long distances and he's only fought twice in 3 years. It wouldn't be a shock if Broner pulled this off, I just can't pick him.
I heard that a lot as he was coming up, that he was a special talent etc etc, but as soon as he fought malignaggi, everything was confirmed for me. Flat footed, leaky guard and poor all round defence. I think they were pushing for a star but they were overly eager. Only thing I saw from him was power at lower weights, which didn't carry up.
I honestly think the weight bounce for broner will hurt him as well. Body's gonna be tender. I just see mikey rocking him early and wearing him down middle rounds for a ref stoppage.

im thinking makabu becase kudryashov is packing glass. his chin is really bad. but if he lands on makabu first he can win. it basically who ever lands first type of fight. ill be surprised if it goes past 5 rounds
