I feel stupider just reading this thread. Seriously everyone needs to stop all the hating here, most of the points here are just making your own side look worse. Both sides seem to be as bad as each other. Maybe everyone should get back to boxing, if Mayweather was British I wouldn’t be supporting him as I don’t like him even though he is a great boxer, I don’t blame the Americans for not supporting him.
Over here in Britain it is huge, I’ve never known this kind of hype over a fight before. You can’t move without hearing about it, it’s on the TV every few minutes, I over hear people talking about it on the train and even my mum is looking forward to this one. Who said boxing was dead.
Yeah you do have to give Floyd credit for hyping this up but I’m worried, as good as a boxer he is, he usually isn’t ‘exciting’ for a non boxing fan anyway. I just hope he doesn’t disappoint as a lot of people are expecting something big.
