That's a nice detail about his preference to stay outside. I never heard that, but it makes sense. I noticed he only clinched if he was close enough after throwing one of his own and didn't want to get countered. I guess it was more a defensive measure, and then he'd buy his time and rough them up on the inside until they were separated again. I never saw that show, will have to try to dig it up online somewhere.

Yeah, I'd be inclined to agree. Most of his prime the past couple years was not utilized, and although other fighters have overcome that, the jury is still out on Ward.

Cotto will probably be too weak to impact Martinez with body shots. Not too weak, maybe to slow.

I admire Lomachenko's desire to throw himself in with the sharks, but I just think he needs to lean how to better adapt to the pos. That World Series boxing organization he was with didn't truly prepare him for the nature of the pros, even if the rules were modified... Experience takes time, and Amateur experience is valuable, but a little different than pro XP. Russel's hand speed could be a huge problem for him. Time will tell.
