The Cuadras Carmona and Gonzalez vs Srisaket fight was supposed to build that rematch but obviously things didnt go to plan.
Rungvisai was his mando iirc.
The Estrada fight should have happened at 112 though. But its worth noting that Estrada was injured for long periods as well. It also coincided with HBO circus rolling into town and they wanted to build his brand a bit on the network (Sosa, Viloria) before he met guys who would be legit 50/50's.
The fight should have happened though big shame it didnt.
Looking forward to seeing Estrada's prime. He is a hell of a fighter.Absolutely.

I made a couple gifs of the KO too, but yo I noticed you got Spence in your avi, nice I rooted for 'Tha Truth' long before he was champion its funny you want to poke fun of a accomplished fighter and dick ride Errol Spence, I see how you guys operate...dont get me wrong as 'Choclatito' fan I even laugh but how you guys can support fighters that have just begun their careers at such a late stage in life and not done really anything in the sport but cant find the integrity to at least respect Gonzalez?I'm salty at Gonzalez because he never gave Juan Francisco Estrada and Carlos Cuadras the rematches they deserved.
I thought Estrada put on a sensational display of skill on Saturday night.

i just finished watching it. being honest with myself i gave cuadras 3 rounds, i could give him 4. but that's about it.I had it this wide for Estrada as well. At the beginning of the fight Lampley said "Cuadras is perceived as being the more marketable fighter" (paraphrasing) and their scoring/commentary definitely indicated that they took this to heart.
Embarrassing is exactly the right word.
I mean, his girlfriend litterally RAN from the arena.

Why was he shot? Trouble making weight? Blocking punches with his face against Rungvisai and Cuadras?
Never seen fans go from "he was robbed" six months ago to "he fought a bigger stronger guy" "he was shot" when he fought the same guy 6 months agoFlawless.
Not a real champion unless he fights chunky or one of the title holders in the tournament.
BUT its good to see a young fighter stepping up to a certain level. Too many fighters take too long these days.He was supposed to fight Anthony Dirrell, but then Dirrell exited the fight with a phantom injury.
This is the right fight for him given his age. Hopefully more opponents will be willing to face him once he gets the belt.
I watched 24/7 yesterday and his brother Rigoberto has the exact same body type (maybe taller, but I mean they are so f*cking wide/bulky).
I think they naturally have way more testosterone than normal. What do you think?
He almost looks f*cking abnormal. Reminds me of a guy I met that had spent his whole life in working driving boats (manually), and had the widest neck I had ever seen.
https://preview.ibb.co/d6Virk/160.jpgProbably not naturally.
Manny Pacquiao says he won’t be watching Conor McGregor’s fight with Floyd Mayweather, and he wasn’t particularly thrilled that the fight is even happening.

I think he can do it.
Lubin has been pretty open about his motivation for taking the Charlo fight: Jermell looked ordinary against Vanes and Jackson (prior to the stoppage) and he views the KO of Hatley as a bit of a mirage given that fighter's quality. I'm excited to see if Lubin can make this giant step up.

That's not that surprising. The rights to the Sky Box Office PPV fights don't automatically go to DAZN. SHO just likely bid more than DAZN to get the rights to it.It's actually very surprising given that DAZN is supposed to be the exclusive home for all of Matchroom's UK shows.
Can't help but applaud those numbers. Only thing that sucked was the fight was not competitive. Imagine if Thurman v Porter were on thst slot sheeshAgreed.
Thurman-Porter increased in ratings throughout the broadcast as it drew new viewers.
They get all Matchroom cards not on Sky Box Office. That part is true. The PPV fights go to the highest bidder. Espiboza said they went hard after the Joshua/Povetkin fight, but DAZN put up a bigger offer. That let me know those fights can be had for SHO.
Now, you can say it is a bad look for DAZN since these are the fights they should be airing as they are promoted by Hearn himself.
Very interesting. Thanks for the info.
I can't wait to watch Spence make his mark in 2018. I will definitely be at the Barclays Center on January 20th.

It's all a matter of framing. GGG fans got excited when he sold out stubhub (of all places) even though the gate was miniscule.
It's looking like they did a great job with the ticket pricing. If they had sold out immediately, then that would just mean they had priced them too low.
His KO on Friday night was insane.

I had unfairly dismissed him after his loss. Now I would love to see him in with any of the PBC guys at 160.
