I'm not accepting the fanboy excuses, you can not tell me this guy is P4P the best fighter in boxing and then proceed to use the "he ran into a bigger man" excuse. For one this was not his first fight with Rungvisai, he already went 12 with him so his size, power, style, skills should be no mystery for Gonzalez or his team. A P4P fighter takes what they learned in the first fight and makes adjustments regardless of size.
Secondly I won't accept the "he got old over night" excuse because less than a year ago you were claiming he was better than Floyd "freaking" Mayweather! A guy with no defense and never proven he can handle adversity was somehow declared better than Floyd??
Third, it's about time you actually watch the fight and say to yourself what is Gonzalez doing in the ring? He was fighting one of the most defensively irresponsible fights I ever seen! Doing nothing but coming forward in straight lines, no head movement, no footwork, no real strategy, tactics, or game plan. His answer to anything that happens in the ring is throw more punches. He left himself exposed, vulnerable, and wide open the entire fight, it was clear he would get starched at any second!
This fight had nothing to do with the size of the two opponents or getting old overnight, it had everything to do with fighting with a low IQ. You fight in a non intelligent way you get dispatched, even by an average fighter like Rungvisai. For a so called P4P fighter that was an embarrassing performance that deserves massive criticism. Stop making excuses for this guy, either improve your skills or retire.
You don't need to justify Roman's loss to me.
Nor do you need to compare Roman and Floyd's level of modesty as it's irrelevant to your ridiculous claim.
You just attempted to sh*t on Maidana because he fought a guy that was 13-3-1.
Rungvasai's last 15 opponents 3 years prior to the first Roman fight;
0-0
0-0
0-0
12-19
3-5
12-10
28-22
21-37
34-2
10-20
5-2
18-26
11-5
22-24
6-10
I'll ask again, are you really sure that's the road you want to go down?
Maidana was a cherry pick huh?
Ok, name me Rungvasai's 5 best wins prior to Roman 1. Since Mayweather never fought anyone as dangerous.
This post is the equivalent of sprinkling baby powder in your hands and then slapping the fuck out of an out of pocket, disrespectful hooker trying to short your money.
Lethal IronDan!

I agree. He burst into action for a minute or so in the second round, but when he went back to his corner he looked dejected.
Didn't Floyd fight Corrales and Castillo at the peak of their powers? And Alvarez when he was the top guy at 54? And Hatton when he was lineal and unbeaten at 40 moving up to challenge he 47 king? C'mon. Gonzalez had a great, HOF run but it wasn't Floyd level and there's no way that comparison works out. Floyd's opposition from Genaro to Berto averaged about a top five opponent per fight. There was some crap, but this comp myth for him has gotten nuts.
You don't need to list how Floyd's resume is better than Roman's. That's asinine.
But it's a pointless task because all that guy will do is discredit the wins or in his words "dissect it"
Which is the eqilvelent of me saying;
"Estrada? Green, wasn't at his optimal weight class."
"Cuadras? C Class. Lost to the best fighters he faced.
"Viloria? Past his prime. Done nothing since"
"Sosa? 8 loss's"
"Rung? Cherry pick gone wrong was supposed to be an easy fight and lost"
It's easy to do that. I mean look what he just did with Maidana, sh*tted on him claiming he's not a dangerous opponent because he fought someone 13-3 three fights prior all while claiming Rung is more dangerous than anyone Floyd has faced. Clearly hasn't seen his recent opposition.
Roman's awesome I love watching him and he's a really good fighter and deserved P4P #1 while he was but to compare him to Floyd is stupid. Not even worth conversating.

You still refuse to answer who Floyd's toughest opponents were. So, we'll agree to disagree and you can take your self-anointed "win" on this thread and have another go at your manhood to celebrate.
Because it has nothing to do with anything.
I'll say again, this time you might get it, YOU made the claim. You said Rung is more dangerous than anyone Floyd has faced :lol1: Now it's on you to justify that.
Don't bring all this irrelevant stuff up answering questions with questions, talking about why Floyd chose Maidana and this that and the other, that has nothing to do with what I asked you.
It's simple, name me Rung's 5 best wins.
I warned you man, this road was not a good one for you to go down. I gave you more than one chance to turn back but you insisted.
He fought with very poor defense especially following the first knockdown. He went down trading when he had no reason to in the 4th.
A case of a boxer not being able to thrive in the limelight.
From the opening round he looked lackluster. You have to remember, 30 as a flyweight is older than 30 at the higher weights. Those flyweights are lightning fast and they don't age well because the first thing they lose is their speed. Prior to the first fight with Rung he went life and death with Cuadras. That was a tough fight. I think he just aged out. It happens that fast. Fighters look good one fight and afterwards they just aren't the same. It's happened to many fighters...De La Hoya, Mosley, Jones Jr., Barrera, Morales, Tszyu, Ray Leonard, the list goes on.

Nearly every guy Floyd fought from the time he won his first title was a tough opponent. Just because Floyd handled them with ease doesn't make them lackluster or unworthy competition. Floyd is just that good, he makes great fighters look mediocre, and for whatever reason you don't want to accept that!
Estrada is awesome.
So is Roman.
Shame the rematch never happened.
Estrada-Rungvisai next?
Estrada vs Cuadras was a final eliminator so it should be. But then thjs is boxing so who knows :lol1:
Winner of that match gets a good ranking in my P4P top 10. Both are just outside at the moment.
Inuoe is also apparently chasing the other title holder Ancajas who Manny Pacquiao promotes (or manages or something). Thats a quality fight as well.
Hope Kal Yafai doesnt stay at home twiddling his thumbs while this great era passes him by
Mate, you are the one who said that Mayweather hasn't fought anyon as dangerous as Rung. I am now asking you to justify this claim. It's not your place to ask questions. You made the claim now support it.
Name me his best 5 wins.
Simple.
Remember, no 13-3's though :lol1: Talk about shooting yourself in the foot.

You're a legend in your own mind. I've asked you to list Floyd's tough fights from the opening post and you continue to duck them, just like Floyd ducked during his entire career. You are a fan of a cherry-picker, and that's ok man. You don't have to shyt on other great fighters just to make your guy look better on paper than he really is. Enjoy the mediocrity.

Your entire post is irrelvant to your original claim.
Name me Rung's best 5 wins.
For such a dangerous opponent it should be easy. Oh but before you do, make sure the opposition didn't fight anyone 13-3 or worse in their recent fights. Because by your own accord that makes them not dangerous right?
You wish you didn't go down this road, don't you? I did warn you twice.

if u don't think Floyd is TBE then cool, stop crying its his saying, many have called themselves the best ever should he call himself the third best ever??? why does it bother u so much ur a grown man don't u have a life? A motivated maidana with Garcia in his corner is a hard fight for any WW. that's a fact, u are played out and pathetic stop crying, roman got his azz KOed fair n square u find excuses every time one of these guys lose
Yes, I have a life, probably not as great as yours, but we are here to discuss boxing. You don't like that I can dissect Floyd's career and his fans, so now you resort to personal attacks. I'm not crying, I'm just pointing out facts that you fanboys can't swallow. Get over it.
bro hes a good fighter he didn't age overnight he just got his azz beat, it happens.... I think he won that first fight but he didn't even seem motivated in this one and fought a terrible fight. no need for excuses hes only 30

When you consider Floyd used opponents resumes and wins/losses to justify his ducking, you have to wonder how Maidana gets the tap on the shoulder instead of Khan (who already beat Maidana), or a more game opponent such as Thurman, Porter, or Martinez and GGG who offered to come down to 154.
Fact is, you still can't provide a list of world-beaters who Floyd defeated to deserve the TBE status he and his fans like to claim. Who were his tough fights? A past-prime Cotto? A past-prime DLH? B-rate Judah? B-rate Corrales?
When did Floyd fight and defeat the level of opposition like prime Estrada and Caudras that Gonzalez had to beat?

Rung has less opposition to choose from?
You are aware Rung has had more fights than Maidana has?
This a Boxing forum you know tha5y right? Are you lost?
You just used the fact that Maidana fought a 13-3 guy as a reason to claim he wasn't a dangerous fight yet I just showed you Rungs last 15 fights across a span of 3 years prior to Roman 1. In response to that you have babbled about irrelevant nonsense.
YOU claimed Mayweather hasn't fought anyone as dangerous, YOU claimed Maidana wasn't as dangerous and citied his opposition as a reason.
Go ahead and name me Rung's 5 best wins prior to Roman 1.
Scratch that, go ahead and name me his 3 best wins prior to Roman 1.

Rung has less opposition to choose from. So he won't be fighting names that most casuals will recognize in a weight class that doesn't get nearly as much exposure at WW. But, like I stated in an earlier post, Rung beat a Gonzalez who CLEARLY aged overnight. Tough fights caught up to him and showed signs of a fighter whose heart just isn't in it any longer and/or just cannot compete at this level any longer. This is what happens when you fight with all of your heart and give it your all in the ring. That sentiment is lost on your Floyd fanboys. My point still stands, Floyd never truly tested himself and avoided the toughest fights during his career.
