Hasn't looked increasingly shot since Leo 2.
He fought a much bigger man in Garcia, and outclassed him imo.
A blown up Nonito (Grated he was blown up, but still very skillful)
And Jackson shouldn't have been anywhere near him
Warrington simply outclassed Frampton to the extent that Frampton didn't know how to combat his aggressiveness.
Huge Fury fan, but even with a Wilder win he's not number 1. Just need to look at each of their fights against top 10 opponents to see who the real number 1 is. And that's Joshua for now.
They need a serious operator and a world title for Frampton at Windsor Park. And tbh, I can't see there being any.
Gary Russell jr only fought last night too, Warrington has distanced himself and Santa Cruz is tied up. Unless Valdez makes a quick recovery I can't see the WBO title being on the line either. Shame as I really REALLY rate Frampton as one of my favourite active boxers currently.
I think everyone who saw Helenius fights over the last few years knew it was going to be a stinker, so Hearn should take responsibility for making that match and then pushing it as some unbelievable Heavyweight WAR.
By the way - Duhaupas vs Miller is going to be a stinker as well. Step-up, Ed.
In all honesty, the first 1-2 rounds Helenius looked very game. But as soon as he injured his arm we went into defensive mode and kept smothering Whyte on the inside.
Breazeale is the N0 1 mandatory
Do some research?
He isn't the number 1 mandatory. He's the mandatory.
As far as I know boxers have to fight a final eliminator? Breazeale's fight against Molina was just an eliminator, with Whyte winning and defending the Silver belt and no1 ranked.
Meaning what they should have done at the least is make Breazeale and Whyte fight for a final eliminator.
Why did Wilder turn down his biggest ever payday, when Hearn offered Whyte? Wilder/PBC haven't even offered a deal for Joshua. Plus he's just fought a mandatory...
Brits are crazy, still support Fury after all that crap.
Unlike our glory supporting american cousins over there, we support boxers if they win or lose.
Imagine the uproar if it was the other way round.
Hearn is right though, Wilder should be a huge start considering he's an American Heavyweight that talks a great game. And he should be making more than a few mil per fight.
Apart from Money May, is there a huge PBC star currently?
Warren's power over the WBO continues to amaze me.
Unless they believe Valdez is out for a while, he's defend his belt 3 times in 1 year. Pointless imo
Still cheering on Frampton though!
He's way out of his depth. He's looked mediocre at lower European level. It's like when Frank threw Jamie Conlan in with Ancajas
Jamie doesn't have the superior amateur pedigree that Barnes has. Plus Ancajas is some special.
Barnes will win by UD, he's getting better and better.
McKenna being written off by BoxNation already, with the constant posts about Ohara vs Jack. McKenna has a great amateur background, and beat a skillful Upton in his last fight.
Not seen much of Jack, but expecting a great fight.
LOL, ducked Taylor to his face. Channel 5 and Cyclone must be wondering why they even bothered.
Has to be heard breaking for Cyclone and Taylor. Put on a show to hype up the Taylor-Yigit fight only for Yigit to run. Sure they'll come to an agreement.
Also looked like slot of tickets didn't sell, so many empty seats.
Followed Conrad for a while now, great gent of the sport. Was outclassed by Keeler (Who was great to watch). Hopefully he can get back to winning ways.
Lets be honest here. Bellew has never been close to an elite level fighter, Haye is a former undisputed cruiser weight champion and came up short against a dominating Wlad who failed to knock him out.
Haye-Bellew was close before the injury and that is with haye not even training properly. I predict a devastating KO win for Haye.
I have never heard Frampton call out GRJ, or even mention Lomachenko (when Loma was at 126 and 130), so he's always been suspect to me!
Why would he? He moved up and challenged Santa Cruz, who absolutely no one wanted to fight at that point. He's not run at all. And trust me, he will absolutely destroy Josh.
He picked the scared guy. Joshua is scared to fight Wilder, he is just scared of that power.
If Joshua is scared to fight Wilder. Is Wilder scared to fight Whyte then?
Whyte to win, and for him to become WBC mandatory. Hearn will win purse bids, because PBC sucks as a promotion. And bring Wilder over to the UK to hype the potential fight with AJ.
Clear as day.
