When he retires boxing will miss him, he has carried boxing in England for the last 4-5 years and he deserves alot more respect them he's being given. He has given boxing some brilliant nights, has anyone seen a better/bigger build up to his fight then the Mayweather one?
Who cares about a build up, that is just the boxing hype machine. He is just a big let down.
How is he a hype machine? He won world titles ffs, people like Khan is a hype machine. Not someone who worked himself up from nothing to winning a world title and beating one of the p4p kings.
This is the view of you from ricky's nuts;

White people don't see skin races, they see the human race. The skin has nothing to do with what goes on in the ring; short of a little blindness from the glaring reflection of Ricky Hatton's ghostly visage.
As a white dude I would like that to be true...but I think when white people see ricky hatton they see "skin races". I have friends who bet me that hatton would beat floyd and pac, it was like taking candy from a baby.
Same dude said the same sh*t the week before each fight and then ended up changing the subject as soon as the fight ended.
For real, and I hope this isn't misconstrued as racist, but white folk go crraaaaazy over hatton, to the point where I think it clouds their common sense and logic regarding boxing (see floyd and pac examples above...see also the movie "great white hype").
Didn't Emanuel Lewis hint towards something like this after the fight, when referring to the belief in hatton and the hype (ultimately unjustified on hatton's behalf) leading up to the fight? Did anyone else hear that?
