Man that was such a good fight. I remember HBO's build to that fight and they had everyone in the Garden wanting to see Hamed get his head taken off. While I don't miss the people that want to claim Hamed as the greatest featherweight of all time, I do miss his antics and what he brought to the game.

Has to be the best in boxing today bar none. And this is coming from someone who cannot stand Mayweather. But holy moly at this resume: Wins Over Canelo Alvarez Victor Ortiz Oscar De La Hoya Shane Mosley Miguel Cotto Zab Judah Ricky Hatton Genaro Hernandez Angel Manfredy Robert Guerrero Juan Manual Marquez Arturo Gatti Jose Luis Castillo Diego Corrales No one can match that.

While I don't particularly think it will effect the outcome of the fight, I just found it really odd how confident Canelo is going into this fight. It's usually pretty easy to spot someone who is scared ****less and then puts up a good front. Canelo really seems to think he is going to win this and doesn't seem to have a worry. Has anyone ever come at Floyd with that level of confidence?

The reality of it is that outside of Trout he hasn't beaten anyone. Ryan Rhodes, Lovemore Ndou, Old Shane Mosley, undersized Josesito Lopez and Baldomir is not the resume he would need to deserve a fight with Mayweather. Plus, what makes anyone think that he is prepared for a fighter of Mayweather's class. I am a huge Canelo fan and I can't stand Mayweather, but I respect his obvious skill and if anyone thinks Canelo is in his league right now they are smoking crack.
