Victor Ortiz @VICIOUSortiz Close
I'm sure @GHOSTBOXING and I will b a great fight! Let's make it happen !
The Ghost had been calling out Ortiz for days.
Looks like Ortiz now wants the fight.
Good fight but I would rather watch Khan-Ortiz
There's talk of him facing Berto, I would like Ortiz to fight him.
So who do you think he should fight?
Alexander's a good fight,he has some decent boxing skills and decent power
LOL,the money's made in Devon's backyard though,Devon has a good following and if Brook wants some money he should just charge a premium to go there.
I think Brook is a good fighter who has some power. What we do not understand is how fast is he compared to the elites. He's calm yes but is this because he's never been pressurised? How good is his defence?
Amir Khan's a bit one dimensional coming ins straight lines.Too often Amir has fought shorter fighters or those who cant move.A Brook-Khan fight would be great but I think Khan's made for Brook. What's worse is Brook's power would cause havoc.

November 14, 2011 (BOXING) - On Sunday, WBC welterweight champion Floyd Mayweather, Jr (42-0) spoke to the media in Orlando, FL a day after WBO welterweight titlist Manny Pacquiao (54-3-2) won a close majority decision over lightweight champ Juan Manuel Marquez (55-6-1).
Asked on whether the boxer thinks he will get inside the ring with the 32-year old Filipino congressman, Mayweather provided a response: "I spoke on that situation so many times. I believe red, white and blue. I just want my American people to stand behind me. I'm the face of boxing."
The 34-year old Mayweather, who participated in a Dwight Howard basketball charity event, continued: "Win, lose or draw last night, I didn't get a chance to see the fight last night , . . . I'm not pointing at no particular fighter out. Since I'm the face of boxing I want the sport to be clean. Not one time have I ever accused Pacquiao of taking anything. I'm entitled to my own opinion. This is America, freedom of speech."
He added: "The only thing I did was have an opinion. I feel that both fighters should take the test (including) random blood and urine. I've done it for the Mosley fight. I've done it for the Ortiz fight. Whoever my next opponent may be, I must take the test. So does my opponent."
On people trying to tear him down from the top spot, Mayweather stated: "I guess it comes with the territory. It's no different than any other fighter I have faced . . . . All of a sudden, now I'm getting lawsuits from fighters - where Pacquiao has said that I messed up his reputation, and different stuff like that. And congratulations to all of Pacquiao's success. Everybody know that everybody that I beat, he fought them after I beat them. I beat them when they were on top of their game."
On Pacquiao facing the 38-year old Mexican in Las Vegas this past weekend, Mayweather said: "Even Marquez, I fought Marquez two-and-a-half years ago. Marquez is about to turn 39. I think Pacquiao is 32. I fought him when he was a couple of years younger so the proof is in the pudding. I don't ever think I would ever get my just due until my career is over, when it's all said and done. But we're not here to talk about boxing. Everybody knows that I'm the best, that's why I'm out taking the test just to show the people around the world know I am the best at what I do."
A spokesperson notified the press that Mayweather would entertain basketball-related questions, not boxing ones.

Pacquiao's just hype fighting old weight drained fighters. He cant beat Floyd even in his dreams
What do you guys think???and who you got????I rekon it would be an entertaining fight and think that marqez could stop him...after seeing how good he was yesterday.....
I think that's a good fight right there.Marquez will stop Khan no doubt because Khan struggled even with McCloskey
There are no cramps to talk about here. When Manny's training 'this is the best training we have ever had.Even if God was to fight for Marquez he cant beat Manny.Everything's perfect.'
Manny trains for many hours a day.The fight's only 1 hour. All of a sudden he has cramps. The only cramps he's getting are Marquez's fists.
WBA/IBF junior welterweight champion Amir Khan has cleared the air about some of his statements that were originally published, and later distributed, by Sky Sports. The British outlet quoted Khan as stating "Floyd Mayweather has agreed to fight me." During a recent roundtable with the media, Khan denied making that statement, and said nobody, including Golden Boy CEO Richard Schaefer, has ever told him that Mayweather agreed to a fight in 2012.
All Khan wants is free publicity
IBF super middleweight champion Carl Froch (29-2, 21KOs) is back in the mix after a five round destruction of previously undefeated Lucian Bute on Saturday night in Nottingham. Bute has a rematch clause to secure a second showdown with Froch in Montreal. Instead, Froch would prefer to avenge his two career defeats - against Mikkel Kessler in 2010 and Andre Ward in December last year.

Ward had an injured hand when he beat Froch, this time around he will be having 2 hands. Ward's simply a better boxer and will beat Froch making him look bad in the process. He can beat Kessler who IMO is overrated.Kessler just moves in straight lines so he's easy to catch. Froch should keep away from Ward and Dirrell because those two will beat him and make him look like a bum in the process.
