Baldomir was the Number 1 WW when Floyd beat him.
Come on.. He was on a hot streak i give him that Beating Judah and Gatti but he was never an Elite fighter and Floyd shouldn't get that much credit for beating him.
So why are Shane and Floyd agreeing to the 2 year ban?
My guess is there agreeing to for contract purposes... they both aren't using any PED's. Shane would be a fool to get caught again.. and Floyd has supreme talent and trains like an animal.
Floyd Vs. Baldomir 350,000
Floyd Vs. Hatton 850,000
Floyd Vs. Judah 350,000
uh let me see....Floyd vs Clottey 500 at the most.
Marquez and De La Hoya not counted do to the fact they are well known Elite fighters. Clottey has won one belt and has never been in a PPV fight.
Pacquiao > Mayweather
"Marquez and De La Hoya not counted" because they prove that Mayweather is a bigger draw.
They are not counted because I am comparing Floyd fighting an opponent of Clottey's Caliber... go ahead throw in May vs Marquez (1 mill) then i'll throw in Pac vs Cotto (1.25 mill).
Cotto is a bigger draw than Marquez.
Why not compare Mayweather vs Marquez/De La Hoya against Pacquiao vs Marquez/De La Hoya? Because That proves Mayweather is a bigger draw right? :lol1: Carry on picking and choosing numbers all you want, but it's obvious that Mayweather is a bigger draw.
I take it you haven't read the question that was originally posted. Who would have more PPV buys Vs. Clottey? Pac or May?
Just looking over the History of fights that Mayweather has had against fighters who have NEVER been on a PPV (Baldomir and Judah) Once again Marquez and DLH are Elite PPV fighters...unlike a Clottey.. if you add Marquez ..the cotto fight wins..and if you add DLH.. Oscar was clearly the Bigger draw... No where in the last Several years has Manny not been the bigger draw in a fight even versus De la Hoya..the crowd was Pro- Pacquiao .... i remember the crowd screaming bullsh*t after the floyd vs DLH fight....Prove me wrong with Facts not just foolish statements.:damnit:
"The head of the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency, Travis Tygart, participated in the call and detailed that Mayweather and Mosley will be subject to random urine and/or blood tests from now "until and after the fight." A positive test, Tygart said, would leave the boxer suspended from the sport for two years, a condition he said both fighters have agreed to."
That is HUGE. Damn will Pac agree to that?
Get your facts straight... Fighter have agreed to a 2 year ban. But the State Commission has to enforce the ban which I'd highly doubt they would do since it isn't there tests they are failing.
I've already stated a million times, make it a rule and if he doesn't comply I'll be as wary as you.
Now.....what exactly has he done to tarnish the sport?
I agree with you man but one thing i don't agree with is that Cowboys sh*t haha
it doesn't tarnish the sport..its the American Bias of MONEY MONEY MONEY.. well he turned down 50 mill he must be taking something...Is money worth more than your PRIDE?
Hellooooooo
Shane and Mayweather AGREED on the 2 year ban.
Will Pac?
Oh and Pacquiao doesn't have to agree to any testing but what the commission requires. For 39 fights Floyd said nothing about Olympic testing. Now its an issue..Child Please..!! as Ocho cinco would say..
judah-#2 ww
baldo-linear champ
now mosley-#2 ww
hatton-undefeated former belt holder at 147
not bad at all
Whoa whoa whoa
Baldomir had 10 losses back then hardly an elite fighter
He hasnt fought mosley
Hatton (overrated) was undefeated but had only fought outside of england twice (before May) what does that tell you and his signature victory was kostya tszyu.
Pac loves to throw this combo and I heard from an analyst on youtube that it could be a very effective weapon against Mayweather's unique defense.
Obviously it's going to take more than this one offensive move to defeat Floyd, but this particular 3-punch combo is interesting 'cos it seems suited for the shoulder-roll defense of Floyd's. I guess when it happens, it will be Pac's quickness to get inside to throw the combo VS Floyd's timing to counter Pac with a straight right which we all know is very accurate.
I favor Mayweather to win, but I hope Pac pulls it off though.
Manny will have a strategy never before seen by floyd...he has the skills, trainer, chin and power to beat him easily...
Hellooooooo
Shane and Mayweather AGREED on the 2 year ban.
Will Pac?
What are they gonna ban themselves from fighting...NO ONE IS ENFORCING THE BAN, NOT THE COMMISSION, NOT THE PROMOTERS, NOT THE OLYMPIC COMMITTEE . WHY IS THIS EVEN A QUESTION?
Who's Bert Sugar? The mans just a Pactard. He knows nothing about boxing. He's no real fan!
Dude you have lost your privileges for visiting this site "who is Bert Sugar?" K*ll yourself right now..
"The head of the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency, Travis Tygart, participated in the call and detailed that Mayweather and Mosley will be subject to random urine and/or blood tests from now "until and after the fight." That is HUGE. Damn will Pac agree to that?
This is a Quote from a ESPN article get your facts straight ...
That could include a two-year ban for a failed test.
"At the end of the day, USADA has no jurisdiction," Keith Kizer, executive director of the Nevada Athletic Commission, told The Associated Press. "Like any medical test, if a fighter wants to do anything more than what we require, more power to them."

they would of make more by selling lemonade on the street..that number is a joke..floyd would make more by televising a sparring session.
damn man get off Floyd's nuts and grow some intelligence. This statement is just stupid.
Who do you feel should be remembered as the greater fighter?
Your comparing Dempsey to Mayweather .Dempsey fought in the early 1900's....Athletes now are more superior than that time period ....But Mayweather isn't even the best fighter in his era...come on man..
"Manny is doing some unbelievable things right now, but you gotta give the pound-for-pound crown to Floyd. He can win with his defense alone; that's sickening," Pulver remarked. "I mean, it's unbelievable the things he's able to do in that ring and I haven't seen anyone with two legs that can do the things this guy can inside of that ring. Its really sickening how good he is." - Jens Pulver
Jens who????????
"I think he's an alright fighter... it's just the pactards that I hate!"
"He's pretty good, BUT his fans act like he's god and I can't stand them"
People that say this are such bullshitters. If you were cool with Pac, the fans wouldn't annoy you guys that much. In fact you'd pretty much agree with a lot things Pac fans on this board say. Honestly I've seen more Mayweather dickriding than Pac on boxingscene.
Btw... I'm a huge fan of both...
Dude stop crying, Grow some nuts.....he's the Michael Jordan of the Philippines. Get over it...
Hes got all time great defense and people talk about him like if he aint a master on the offensive end as well. He might not be explosive as other fighters, but hes prob the most accurate puncher out there!
If he can do to Mosley what he did to JMM and Hatton..ill be surprised..He does have skills but he's never fought a elite Welterweight until May 1st.
If Floyd wants the fight he'll accept the same testing he did in 39 other fights. Unless of course the rules change. If not, Mayweather is the ducker.
Finally someone with some sense...PED's have been around for 10+ years.. where was Floyd then?????? Where were the Floyd fans accusing and discrediting Pacquiao when he was beating Barrera, Morales, Diaz, Marquez, Hatton, De La Hoya and Cotto. I know where they were, they were watching it on PPV.
It seems that alot of people are buzzin' about Joe Calzaghe doing cocaine. Its either that they feel their hero let them down, or that it justifies their hate for Calzaghe.
I'm curious, how many people care that he does coke, and how many people really dont give a F*ck.
That dirty welsh can do whatever he wants....
I wouldnt be shocked one bit if these went down after Floyd fought Pac and Shane.
Not likely.....these guys aren't even elite welterweights or PPV attractions. It will take years for Ortiz to prove himself as a Welterweight. Khan is overrated. Alvarez is unknown.
I don't think so and i'm sure Floyd is not gonna be one of those fighters that sticks around longer than he should. Floyd will be retired again within two years.
I agree Floyd is coming back for maybe 3 fights after Mosley and retire late next year.
