I just love Chisora. He is ready to fight anybody. We need more that kind of guys in boxing. War Chisora.
Giving him too much credit. That's what you do when you have 9 losses. He doesn't have much of a choice but to be ready to fight everybody.
This fight is just a way for Fish Eyes and The Worm to further protect their cash cows - by having Zhang and Wilder beat each other up to create some more age, wear, and tear.
Look who Fury and Joshua have been fighting lately. No threats to the odometer of any kind.
Considering the ring was wet and Usyk is a boxer whose use of movement is such an important part of his game, can you imagine the total/utter domination that would've been put on Triple Knee in a dry ring? Those of you who say they'd like a rematch - man, ANYTHING to keep Usyk away from Fury.
Should be a great fight all the way through with plenty of punches thrown. Rooting for Yoka and feel she should win with her edge in mental toughness and ring activity. But...she's going to have to really separate herself from Seniesa down the stretch or she will surely get jobbed by the judges. Also at play, pressure is on Seniesa to keep that "0" and Coach G is now Yoka's trainer. Yoka! Yoka! Yoka!
Lmao that’s true but aj looked the same in all his fights after klits big difference tonight he didn’t have the ref helping him stopping his opponents from fighting they fight which is why Hearn is so eager to take rematch back to u.k
Hit the nail on the head, School.
I mean there are so many factors. IVe travelled a bunch. Sweated like hell in Singapore and I’m not a sweater but body adapted in a few days. Sum guys I know sweat all the time in their hometown. Sum guys are 6’5” like Joshua, heat won’t affect that. What I’m trying to say is yes it’s tough to travel and fight, the history shows that. But if ur the champ maybe u shoulda travelled at sum point to get experience at it. People travel to fight AJ in uk. So if it’s a benefit to fight at home they milked it and that’s fine. But if him travelling was a real negative on him, that means they never prepared him the best they could to win overseas. Basically means he was protected. All the people who travelled to fight AJ weren’t at their best either then. So that can’t help him prepare for a fight in the USA either. It did make him a lot of money and hype winning in the uk. But it didn’t help him evolve and learn as a fighter. If travelling is harder then it’s worth experiencing. If u became the champ dragging people to the UK and then fighting outside the uk for the first time is a huge factor that’s on you. Makes all your uk wins less then.
Excellent post. Remember all of those times Joshua saying there really wasn't a reason to go to the US? Now you know why. Though the ref did his best to prop him up, that mexican-american leather ended upside his head one too many times beforehand.
^^^^^ this lol why people don't know ***** about boxing!!! Ruiz might not beat Joshua again, he was clearly underestimated mate!!! Have a good one
In how many heavyweight championship fights have you ever seen the champ get dropped four times and stopped by TKO then turn around and win an immediate rematch. I seriously doubt that AJuice will take the rematch right away. If I were Andy I'd tell Hearn to get on all fours.
Will the referee give AJ a lifeline if he’s in trouble as was the case by the referee in Fury v Usyk?
Yes, it's a tradition in boxing. Joshua is always being given either a lifeline and/or some kind of help every time he steps into the ring. Quite often by the matchmaking itself.
Lubin would make a nice replacement if that’s possible. I think he’s perfect for Ortiz. Personally I think the fight being announced and called off was strategic with no intention of happening but being praised for being “brave “ & “wanting “ the fight BUT.
Agree 100% - to keep the "old school/throwback fighter" angle going. Can't see Tim T would actually want any part of Vergil at any point. Vergil is a scary dude.
If Tim's mind is strong as it looks, he might be back to the top in less time than we think. I remember, for example, Thomas Hearns suffering damaging knockouts (Hagler, Barkley), but still remaining around the elite for quite a while.
That's because Hearns was elite. Tim, is not.
Simple. When Greedy Belly can't eat up half the round and your energy by leaning on you, hugging you, or headlocking you, he starts to panic (look at his facial expressions throughout the Ngannou fight). This is an essential part of his strategy.
Without it, he knows it's very possible that his tank is draining faster than yours. Then, you can see his actual "skills" emerge because he doesn't have the benefit of teeing off on a stationary, exhausted fighter, per usual.
Most pro fighters can look "ATG" dishing out combos on a heavy bag.
Aw, Fish Eyes. "It’s a massive, massive, massive event; the biggest event out there that will break box office records.” One "massive" is ridiculous enough, but 3 is meth head level desperate.
